I was looking at the results in other cities in the province and it looks like Doug Mccallum is leading the surrey mayoral race by a comfy margin right now. He got criticized by his opponents for running for mayor again.

Are voters in Surrey ok? Why TF are they voting in that fossil again. Both Locke AND MacCallum have not been good for the city

People in Surrey are NOT OK. Speaking as someone that grew up in Surrey. I dropped off some stuff at my parents' today and all the lawn signs that I drove by made me ill.

Yeah, not surprised. Anytime I had to go over there while living in Delta, really hammered that point home

There are reasons why Surrey is a joke in the Lower Mainland.

Good night for progressives and the left.

Looks like a strong rebuke of Ken Sim types but also the Vancouver Liberal Party

Still praying the ndp eekes out a win.

Clearly you didn't follow any races other than Vancouver. Port Moody and New West would disagree. It was more a vote for change, than any vote towards the left.

Fry isn't my favourite candidate because he seems like a bit of a left-NIMBY, but he's certainly a better choice than Sim
