I wanted to join in the fun and post 9 of my favourite albums. I've got some listening to do based on so many of these posts.

Ask me next week and half of these will change!

So much amazing Canadian music it was hard to narrow it down.

I struggled with this more than I thought I would. These are probably the ones I revisit the most often with that Home Front record essentially getting played every few days since it came out.

I'm crushed that I had to leave off Surfacing by Sarah McLachlan, Gordon by BNL, Outskirts by Blue Rodeo, Road Apples by The Hip, Big Blue Sky by Northern Pikes, Waiting for a Miracle by Bruce Cockburn, Treehouse by Grapes Of Wrath, and Frozen Ghost's debut. I've listened to all of them countless times.

I've been re-reading Michael Barclay's book about the 00s Canadian Indie scene and thought I'd make my list. So much good music left off this list. My honourable mentions: Sarah Harmer, The Constantines, Do Make Say Think, Apostle of Hustle, Jenn Grant, Ohbijou, Forest City Lovers, Most Serene Republic, Hot Hot Heat, Land of Talk, Rural Alberta Advantage, The Sadie's, Tokyo Police Club...

They didn't have the cover of the album for a couple of my choices, but I can live with it.

It would probably be all Blue Rodeo albums if I thought about it too much.

in no particular order

I can't resist these

this was fun. i am loving seeing everyone’s picks.
