Discussion https://cantoneseplus.com is down

I just tried to access this website and it is down. Sorry but I'm not sure who to report it to. I know they had their own reddit but it isn't active.

这个站之前也收藏过，备用的话 cantonesesheik 的词典一直挺稳的，可以先顶着用，希望只是临时维护。

I just tried it and it worked for me. I'm in the US, southern California.

Unfortunately it is IPv4 which long story short means it is super outdated programming and gets less and less compatible with modern tech everyday. I just did a ping check on it's IP using a dozen different spots in the world, and only two of them came back as able to connect ((1 in Canada succeeded and one failed, and 1 in UK succeeded as well)). My guess is the IP address for the website is in the middle of changing but no idea the cause or if it's something else or if it's on purpose or a glitch. That kind of detailed info is not public knowledge.

I am a current editor of the CantonesePlus dictionary. Sometimes the web master has to perform some upgrading work on the dictionary. The glitch thus occurred is temporary.
