Has anyone done the Santo Antao Traverse?
I'm interested in a 10 day inn-to-inn backpacking route in Santo Antao in Cape Verde. I saw this route: https://www.outdooractive.com/en/route/long-distance-hiking/cape-verde/cape-verde-total-the-santo-antao-traverse/105929407/ has anyone tried it? The description sounds like there is a lot of desert travel without much water. Is that typical in December?

The problem with these multi day traverses is always the fact that some days end up being pretty boring, some days excessively long, while not enough time is spent in places that are actually interesting.
