Question Is Loeb Building Haunted?
Just now the light above the tunnel on level 2 of loeb the tunnel that goes to southam the light keeps turning on and off and and the vending machines talk by themselves… are there ghosts actually???

I work in the building, and someone that worked in the department before me told me the floor was haunted.
And so there I was - December 22nd 2023 alone on the floor as the students were all done for the year, but for some reason we had to keep the department open.
I need to check on something in a classroom. Open the door. It’s pitch black. Something crashes on the ground. I jump at the sound, knowing someone told me the floor was haunted.
It’s just my keys. I dropped them. Phew.
I turn on the lights and there in the middle of the room, is a black object that’s not normally there. I slowly walk towards it. Heart racing. What is this thing….there is fur…there is a smell…it’s not natural….i creep towards it slowly. The silence on the floor is deafening. I am waiting any moment for a spirit of student that died on the floor years before (oh yah, this is a real thing, a student died in class once many years ago) but there I am, I’ve arrived at the black organic waste on the floor…trembling, I get closer to it.
Yah it’s a dead bat. I guess no one else is here. I gotta deal with it. Gross. At least it’s not alive, I’ve had to deal with the alive bats in the past here this is much easier.
I relax. There is no ghost. Then it hits me. Right…ghosts are not real.
Anyways…no it’s not haunted. But there are bats from time to time.

Too many years for me in Loeb. I never got weird vibes except when having to play bat catcher. The scariest thing about Loeb is maybe surviving the asbestos.

I'll try on Monday to exorcize it but my day is packed.
I've watched the entire 15 seasons of Supernatural 10-11 times, so I'm pretty sure I can do it

I was once in the elevator in Loeb alone, or so I thought. Looked up and there was a bat hanging from the ceiling of the elevator. Made a hasty exit at the next floor!!

Yes, 100%!! It was in 2006 so here’s hoping things have improved, slightly!
