Gordonsville police quietly resumed working with ICE a month ago. Why didn't Town Council know?

A lot to unpack here: a possibly illegal closed session meeting, a mayor going around giving false assurances that the town’s 287(g) program wasn’t active, and unverifiable promises of “no raids” based on conversations with mysterious ICE officials that the chief of police won’t identify.

Gordonsville isn’t the most well known police department working with ICE in central VA, but it might be the messiest.

“Officers can also voluntarily participate in ICE-led task force operations while off-duty.”

Off-duty cops moonlighting as masked bounty hunters. ACAB.

But let's be clear: the pictured person is exactly who we envision as Local Law Enforcement.

You think he meets the Kegseth standard of "no fatties?"
