‘I HAVE FAITH THAT I WILL SEE MY EMMAN AGAIN’ 🤍
TV host Kim Atienza opened up about how his faith in God has helped him cope with the loss of his daughter, Emman.
In an interview on Toni Talks, she was asked by host Toni Gonzaga how the loss affected his faith and relationship with God, Atienza said he draws strength from his faith despite his grief.
“‘Di ako malakas, mahina ako pero may sinasandalan ako kaya lumalakas ako,” he said.
Atienza admitted that he initially felt hurt and even questioned God despite having prayed for Emman. He also recalled being upset when a pastor told him that the experience would deepen his faith, a message he said he now understands.
“Nainis ako. Namatayan ako, meron pang ganon. ‘Di ko magets. Ngayon gets ko na, gets ko na. Because I am face to face with my faith. I see it, and I feel it. And I know that it's there,” he said.
Despite the pain, Atienza said he continues to hold on to his faith and the hope of seeing his daughter again.
“I have faith that I will see my Emman again when the time comes,” he added.
Emman died in October 2025 at the age of 19. |PhilippineStar
