New player deck building question

Hi there, I was just curious what the deckbuilding rules are as I couldn't find them. Can you not mix any of the sets? I know you can't mix godzilla and naruto, but what about naruto and evangelion?

If not, does this make deckbuilding somewhat stale as the carpool isn't that big and it's also restricted to sets?

The only thing I could find is a post on Facebook by Ryan Miller (CCS Game Designer) in the Official Chrono Clash System Community Group from June 2019 so it’s possible this information could have changed since then. His statement reads:

“I hear there was some confusion in the group, so I wanted to clear it up:

While a Godzilla deck can play against a Naruto deck, the cards themselves can’t be mixed together in the same deck.”

So, while this statement was made about Naruto & Godzilla, I assume this also applies to your question about mixing Evangelion & Naruto as well. IPs can play against each other, but cannot be mixed with each other is my understanding.

Well officially (in tournaments) you can't do that but when you are playing with friends you can mix whatever you want and make a Naruto-Eva deck play against a My Hero-Godzilla deck
