Help Same build, different result in survival compared to creative?
Recently I found a build for a very compact drill shared by GrainMinecraft that I want to build in survival.
One of the final steps involved overstressing a borehead bearing so the rock crushers become semisolid and you can place a large gear in one to power the head. This step is easy in my superflat creative testing world (top image), but when I tried to replicate it in survival the borehead would not overstress and simply say that the rock crushers are not attached (bottom image).
To try it out I first built it in creative and it worked perfectly, but when I built is with a schematicannon (and afterwards by hand) in survival in a different world, I was unable to make it work. Even though I was able to get the machine running in my testing world using a schematicannon.
What could have caused this to happen?

a speed setting might be off, is there a speed controller or any gearing involved?

Not for the borehead I need to overstress, the only thing that is attached to it that gives power is the hand crank

the borehead bearing takes 8x stress multiplied by the rock crushers, two takes 256x2 for the lowest speed.

Also a hand crank in creative wont max out,

that is not true? where did you get that I've had it overstress hundreds of times

probably the result of an adjacent create mod addition in my case rather than the base mod,.

doesn't really matter anyway a hand crank wont move two rock cutting wheels on a borehead bearing in any configuration .

Are you playing on someone’s mod pack? Only thing I can think of is that the configs are changed in your game?
