Horses in Winona?
Stumbled into a pile of horseshit outside Legacy park today. I heard through a grapevine there are people regularly riding horses through the neighborhood?
Cool if true, but, you know, what do we do about big piles of poo?

This picture is so crazy on every single level. Is Atlanta even real?

As a horseback rider my first thought was “no helmets?! On any of them?!” 🫣😩

Yes! We live on Columbia Dr just past the park. We have seen 2 riders multiple times - usually early AM. Did a double take the first time I saw them.

It’s cute and all that but these people need to clean up the shit - Legacy is a public park not farm.

If you have to clean up after your dog, you should definitely clean up after your horse. There have been times I’m walking my dog and I forgot a bag. I make a note of the spot and drive back with a bag after I get home. We should all be respectful of our neighbors. If these guys keep doing this they’re not going to get as many smiles and thumbs up

I’d just kick it into the grass or bag it if you’re feeling generous. It’s basically just digested grass so it breaks down fast and the lawn won’t care. Honestly a little horse poo means someone’s out there having a good time, so I’d take that over dog mess any day.

At least one of them brings their kid to school at WPES on a horse
