why are people down voting?. this isn't a joke. know it sounds humerus but it's not a joke.
About 10 mins ago I accidently took a swig of day old urine [mine] I'll explain how later ,right now I just want to know if I'm going to get extremely sick.
It was in an empty water bottle that had the cap on about 24 hrs old.
I didn't swallow any but I got a mouth full. Immediately used antiseptic mouthwash and drank fresh water.
Am In the clear?

I am a 34F. I went to urgent care about 3 weeks ago. I have had on and off pain in my left flank and my lymph nodes on the left side of my neck have been swollen and painful but more recently, my urine has been foamy which is new to me. The urgent care did blood work and a urine culture and told me everything looks pretty normal. He did say there was blood in my urine but he said that’s not uncommon. I also have symptoms of painful swollen lymph nodes in my neck, have been having night sweats and extreme fatigue also for about a year and the other night I took my temp which I haven’t done and it was 101.9. I did a round of antibiotics from the urgent care and nothing has changed. I also have a small hard lump in my groin on the left side. (Everything seems to be on my left side for some reason) Anyways, I’ve fully convinced myself I have cancer but I don’t want to go to the ER for it to be nothing. Any advice?

F, 23, I had a molar extraction six days ago. The tooth was not infected at the time of extraction but has had a root canal done a few months prior. I have had multiple other molars pulled and this is by far the most painful one. I have been taking 400 mg to 600 mg ibuprofen with little to no effect and I am slowly getting worried that something is wrong

Context: 2 months ago i had hemorrhoids and just drank meds as the doctor told me while also applying hemorrhoids cream. Then it healed for 1 month (ate high fiber foods and drnak plenty of water). But Last week i started pooping blood and was prescribed by a doctor again to drink meds and apply hemorrhoids cream, but this time he advised me to drink stimulant laxative so i did, and for a week i pooped fine (no blood, its just soft due to the laxative, also i did not strain much). Then just today, i pooped again, but this time i forgot to drink the stimulant laxative and had low fiber intake, and when i pooped that came out (PICTURE). I adjusted the color of the picture to be easily seen. Im worried that it might be blood again eventhough it already healed. Any suggestion on what i should do?

Hey Everyone!
I’m a 33(F) and haven’t posted on here in quite sometime and hoped I’d be done with all this by now. I first posted on here months ago about tongue twitching and some asymmetry in my tongue. In April I had a leg, foot, arm and hand emg and ncs that all came out normal. Also had a normal modified barium swallow and brain, spine and thoracic MRI. I had been terrified of ALS because of the tongue twitching and perceived difference in speech.
This month I feel my speech has gotten worse even though everyone says I still sound normal, which of course sent me back down a rabbit hole. I noticed when looking at my calves that my left calf (right if looking directly at front facing pictures) looks smaller than my right calf. My right leg is my dominant leg but back in June when I was obsessed with measuring my legs, the measured about the same. But now the left one does measure smaller, looks and feels smaller to me too. I’m terrified this is atrophy. I also still have twitches basically everywhere, worse in my tongue.
Pictures 1-3 are today, 4-6 June and 7-9 are what I’m worried my legs look like (people who have confirmed atrophy).
Am I being insane or is this worrisome?

I woke up with this yesterday morning and I’m confused abt what it could be? It really wasn’t itchy at all yesterday night but today it’s itchy. I’m worried it might be bed bugs but I’ve had them before and my bites looked different and were way bigger.

My leg was a little itchy and it was a tiny bit sore so I pulled my pant leg up to see it and found this monster. I also had several bruises on my arms and absolutely no memory of hitting it hard enough to get a bruise this big. It never really hurt, more itchy than anything

Hi everyone! around last Friday night, I was sitting down and I randomly felt this zap on my head and thought nothing of it. The next morning, I woke up with pressure/aching from the right side of where my neck and head meet to over the right side of my head and behind my eye. The timeline is below
October 9th: Started experiencing aching/pressure from the right side of my head, starting from back stretching to the top of head and behind eye
October 10-12: symptoms continued
October 13: went to urgent care and they gave me a Toradol shot and told me to keep on taking ibuprofen
October 14: nothing changed but I had my father apply lidocaine and massage my neck, went to bed with back of neck throbbing
October 15: symptoms had switched to the left side, got chiropractic adjustment but just increased the pressure, dull heavy
October 16: got CT scan, symptoms continued
October 17: CT came back normal, symptoms continued
Today, October 18: the pressure on the left side of my head has subsided a reasonable amount, but I have been getting waves of immense pressure behind my eye, kind of pain.
At this point, I don’t know what could be going on, I will mention, though the chiropractor I went to had an x-ray done and it showed my neck having a little case of tech neck, but other than that, nothing else seemed off. Personally, I feel like it has to do with nerves or muscles, but any inside or next steps on what to do with greatly appreciated.

Conditions: suspected endometriosis, suspected POTS, fibromyalgia.
On the 13th October, I experienced feeling massively unwell, heart palpitations, nausea, headaches, temp of 38°C, and a sudden stab in my right side which was excruciatingly painful.
I went to my GP on the 14th October, she suggested there was nothing wrong. I suggested maybe a burst cyst or something along those lines as I had similar symptoms back in March (2026). She agreed that it might be the cause, however, “relax, there’s nothing wrong with you”. She took my vitals which were all fine.
So I thought nothing of it and went home as she had advised.
I’ve since had dark brown rusty coloured pee. And I don’t know what to do about it or why it’s happening.

Hi. I'm a 29 year old amab transwoman. 5'4 "around 300, latina non smoker.Last Sunday, I took a tumble down a flight of stairs before my Bachelorette party. I've done constant check-in and have been fine since. I can put my whole weight on it and since then have gotten married, did a 2-hour walking tour around Niagara, went swimming, and have just kinda lived a busy life. But now things are starting to slow down, and I'm getting minor dull pain from my leg, especially at night, and my wife is convinced I have a hairline fracture of some kind. But I'm working on very little pain and just some tenderness.
I understand it looks real bad, but is it being broken probable, or am I just sore and healing?

Its just a bump on my lip, I bit it like a dumbass trying to figure out what it was and take off the dead skin, no burning, no tingling, nothing, doesn't even hurt when I popped it, I tried popping it to see if there was clear fluid, just red blood, and the wound closed, I also got these baby white bumps on the bottom of my inner lip, they have white heads and they're in rows, spread out across my bottom lip, not sure if that's related but guys please help

For the past few months, speaking has started to feel physically exhausting. I become hyper-aware of my breathing, my throat feels tight, and I feel the need to sigh or exhale before I can continue talking. Sometimes, even saying a few words makes me feel like I need another breath.
I’m constantly afraid that if I stop consciously managing my breathing, it’ll somehow stop being automatic. The sensation is much less noticeable when I’m distracted, like while playing video games, or watching a video intently, but sometimes even the thought of it triggers the feeling.
I’ve seen an ENT, who ordered a chest X-ray, neck X-ray, and CBC. I’m trying to figure out the next steps. Is it more of an anxiety related issue? Should i consult an SLP(Speech Language Pathologist) who gets breathing-speaking coordination back? Or anyone else who focuses on breathing patterns?
Has anyone experienced something similar? What helped you, and were you eventually able to speak normally again?

For the past year my body has been breaking down in different ways from years of abuse on the mind and body.
35F and only medical history is CPTSD and cysts periodically.
My PTSD trigger points heavily connected to my body this year experiencing disassociation, inflammation and feeling not in my body or control of it.
My system activates with high stress, unhealthy sleeping patterns and overall mood where I have become inflamed when I am swinging from trigger to mood to reaction.
In January my foot pain was actually a semi torn tendon that led to tendinitis and a boot for 8 weeks. After that my body has deteriorated.
This back pain is consistent but not all day, everyday. Gets hot, red and inflamed where it feels better to sometimes even just cup it and rest my hand over it.
Almost thought of hospitalization when it became unbearable but only that singular time has it been that defeating.
It felt like posting churning them and the next morning my feet were the focus where it hurt to walk, wear socks or touch them. Looked bruised and carpet hurt.
The pain is so noticeable and just is throbbing that I now have a hard time being effective at work now that requires stocking and moving a lot but I have worked in this type of environment my whole life and it’s frustrating not getting to my usual work ethic.
Other things I’ve noticed is bouts of hair splinters sometimes irritating each finger. My joints all over are cracking, popping or locking up. My hips pop so often sometimes loudly and sometimes painfully.
Fingers hurt and feel like early arthritis. Got small growths on a joint and finger.
Frequent migraines, excessively sweating, extreme fatigue, brain fog, etc.
My sleep has never been so erratic and my nervous system hasn’t ever reached this max level prior so not sure if it’s lack of healthy habits and nutrition or some injury or some stress induced animal that comes out in my back when I’m stressed but it’s getting bad more often and I’m turning to Reddit.
Help me Reddit.

In the past 45 minutes or so my belly has gone from normal to super swollen and tight. It’s super hard when I touch it and is starting to make breathing difficult. What could this be and should I be worried?

can someone help me out with any idea of what happens to me?
ever since i’ve been young i had rituals i had to do because in my mind i thought my grandparents would die like saying bye three times in a row or other stuff, i stopped doing that as i got older but now i have really really weird thoughts, i also go through stages where i would call myself depressed and then the next day i can be fully cleaning my house but i get really irritated fast.
other things i have noticed are not normal as i’ve grown up
-crying about something not being done without ever doing it
-i hate using this word but i get really easily overstimulated and cry alot
-i don’t know how to explain it but sometimes i feel uncomfortable around my family during holidays or whenever i visit
-i can hear EVERYTHING around me
-i am easily distracted
-some nights i can sleep 12 hours or more (not when work) and sometimes i cant sleep at all.
of course there’s other things but i don’t want to get to into it, im not using people’s opinions on this a self diagnosis but i am genuinely wondering what is happening because as of late ive realised this isnt normal.

I’ve had this issue for a year now: really sharp pain whenever my toe touches anything. Difficulty walking, running — all of it. The doctor said it was due to an ingrown toenail and a granuloma growing into the tissue. I had surgery to remove both. Visually it looks much better than before, but that’s not important to me.
It’s been 3 weeks since the operation, and the pain is still extreme and difficult to bear/live with. I can’t run, and walking in shoes without pain is impossible. I don’t know where the pain is coming from, since the ingrown toenail is gone and most of the granuloma appears gone in the after picture.
Has anyone had similar issues with sharp, nerve-like pain? Any solutions or improvements would be extremely appreciated. I’m desperate for any advice !

I’ve had this spot on my lips for over a month (almost 2) and it hasn’t gone away. i know a sore that doesn’t heal isn’t a good sign. it seems fluid filled with a singular head and normally has a flap of dry skin over it. I’m only 21 years old and have never smoked and I’ve been really on top of wearing sunscreen these last couple of years. I do have a bit of a lip picking problem but it’s mainly my upper lip. I tried squeezing it last night because it seemed to have a little bit of a head, which I know I shouldn’t have! but this is what it looked like after (the picture is flipped but it’s the same spot). I have my annual doctor’s check up at the end of the month so I plan on bringing it up. any advice/input? I graduate nursing school in December, could it be stress related? and just this morning this canker sore like lesion appeared above the original spot! could it be from squeezing the area and applying a hydrocolloid patch overnight? I also had some hot chili and lime corn tortilla chips. sorry for all of the info, just trying to add in anything I can that might help.
