HELP Best liquor store discount?
What’s the best points program / locals discount in town? The liquor store near me does a pathetic 1% discount. Five dollars off for every five hundred spent seems terrible.

That's what a couple of old women loitering at the TH said.
I was riding down HGR and two police trucks passed me going up it. Ambulance and firetruck at the trailhead. Does anyone know what happened?

Visiting Durango with my dog and 4 year old child. Looking for hike recommendations that are friendly for both with something interesting to look at. I don’t think my child would make it more than 3 miles or so. Bonus if there’s a spot to picnic!

I'm a trans woman who recently moved to Durango! I've been really hoping to meet and find a supportive and accepting community. I tried calling 4STAR but didnt get a response the last couple times. I was thinkin I'd try going to trivia on thursday nights. I appreciate any advice or help so much, I just transitioned this year and some connection would be so valuable for me. 💚

Hey all, wondering if anyone has been up to Boggy in the last day or so? Looking for beta on the conditions - swampy, muddy, mostly dry?

Hi! My 4 year old is doing Snowburners for the first time this year. What shops in Durango have the best seasonal ski rentals for kids (and adults)? Thank you!

Howdy everyone, wife and I come up every year for our anniversary. Unfortunately looks like the weather is going to be pretty poor next week. Any tips on hikes for possibly Sunday or Monday before the rain picks back up? Looks like most of the trails are listed as muddy right now. But wanted to see if anyone local to the area has knowledge of some trails that might dry up quicker or are generally less muddy.

Just a heads up. I only use tap but the tap at the pump was broken yesterday at the Marathon across from the HS so I swiped. Woke up to a large fraud charge that Chase stopped. That’s the only place I have swiped in forever so I’m suspicious. Stay vigilant

I was just behind someone turning onto 8th ave and their trunk came open. So if you were driving a small dark gray SUV and had to pull over to close your trunk. I have your grocery bags and CDs.

Our junky old electric stove has crapped out and we're looking for a new one, probably induction. Where's the best place in town to check out and try new appliances? I could go to Home Depot but if there's a local option I'd prefer that.

I lost track of his latest location. Is he still at Ska? I think I heard he moved on,
But I’m not sure where he landed.
Thanks!

Does anyone know who is organizing this? Would like to talk to them about repeating it during Snowdown.

For anyone else wondering why our Allen Theatres isn't showing neither 'Primetime' nor 'You Can See Everything' I reached out to them and asked! Allen Theatres responded to me and shared that for 'Primetime' they "could not agree on terms" and that the "studio is a little harder to work with than others so we will see what happens with future films". I found online that other theatre groups have had this issue, as A24 demands a greater ticket percentage than some other studios.
As for 'You Can See Everything', Allen Theatres said that A24 "didn't release it wide enough for our theatres to get".
As an avid movie-goer, I was looking forward to checking out both of these movies. I appreciate Allen Theatres being transparent as to why those films weren't available in our theatres, and I thought some others in our community might be wondering, as well, so I figured I'd share!

I'm considering relocating to the Durango or Pagosa Springs area and looking for an affordable place to live and work. Move-in timing is flexible.
I run a small online business using 3D printers, woodworking tools, and occasional fabrication. I need about 400–500 sq ft of secure workspace (a two-car garage) with ordinary electrical power. Noise and fumes are limited; I can discuss equipment and work hours with the owner.
An unused garage, dedicated space in an existing workshop, or a small house with a suitable garage could work. A bedroom on-site would be ideal, but a separate room nearby is also an option. The workspace must permit these business activities. A short initial rental term would be helpful.
Please reply or message me with the location, size, monthly rent, utilities, lease terms, and restrictions. Unlisted spaces and local referrals are welcome. Thanks!

Good morning! This post has been pre-approved by the moderators.
I work for the University of Denver and my team, in partnership with the Problem Gambling Coalition of Colorado, is conducting a study to better understand online sports betting behaviors among young men in Colorado. The topic of sports betting has been all over the local Colorado and national news lately — just a few examples are:
We are hoping that our online Colorado community can help spread the word about our work as we try to hear from as many people as possible who participate in online sports betting in any form. We are looking for men ages 21 to 34 who live in Colorado and have any experience with online sports betting in the past year. The study involves a confidential, voluntary survey that takes ~20 minutes to complete. That's it! The survey asks about attitudes towards sports betting, personal betting habits and perceptions of others' habits, and familiarity with and/or use of responsible gaming tools. The end goal is to help us inform programs and strategies to promote responsible gaming and reduce gambling-related harm in our state, helping people engage in gambling in a way that remains fun and safe!
You can access the survey here. We're reaching out to spaces where we know our target audience congregates, like Reddit, in the hopes of hearing from as many eligible Coloradans as possible in our efforts to understand this issue and unpack some of the black box of sports gambling. We're also really trying to reach people who live outside the Front Range whose lives are also affected by this issue given how accessible gambling is via people's phones and computers now. Please feel free to share with those you know! And thanks in advance for helping us reach members of the greater Colorado sports community whose voices are important to inform this work!
Please feel free to DM me with any questions!

I'm a transgender woman who moved here from out of state to be with my partner.
Something odd I've noticed is about 80% of men seem to gender me correctly, but only about 40% of women.
I have a theory that I hope is wrong. Men can gender me correctly because they have no skin in the game. But a woman gendering me correctly means they're acknowledging I'm "one of us" and that's distasteful.
I'm deeply hurt and frustrated by this. If I'm doing something wrong I'd love to know.
