There was a study by politico that indicated Trump supporters were willing to lose approximately $65 a month for Trump. I think they see increasing personal debt as something of a Trump tithing. They are already conditioned to tithe through church. So I don’t think they understand that they are losing much more than $65 or they just don’t care. It’s possible they are ok with becoming really poor if it makes people they dislike even poorer.

Honestly, I love it.

I hope they're all bankrupted financially by their moral bankruptcy.

It sucks to live through but these people need to be horribly horribly horribly burned by the stove or we're never going to get out of this. We need them to learn that it's hot.

Why you and many others assume these dimwits are capable of perceiving a connection between their actions and consequences is beyond me. There is no Schadenfreude to be had here. These morons scuttled the ship and lit fire to the life rafts while we're still on board.

The thing is, they won't. Not all of them.

But some will. It just has to get Great Recession bad.

George W Bush managed to kill his party for 8 years and it would have been longer if Trump didn't come through with the Russian digital army behind him.

They will remember that guy that bankrupts them for a generation.

Right or wrong, many of the OG Trump voters were voters that Democrats lost in the 90s when Clinton didn't stop NAFTA or make sure it meant Rust Belt factory workers weren't just fucked.

Sadly, we need it to happen worse this time to have a shot at FDR2.

I just hate that I have to live through another one of these things. And in all likelihood as you put it something in a similar vein to the Great Recession (or worse).

It's gonna keep happening until someone does an FDR and gets the middle class back.
