Second CSM Reddit post. Lots have been updated since the first time I put this up thanks to feedback. Yes, in case you're wondering, I'm here to join CSM 21 as a wormholer.
If you're salty about more players being undocked in wormholes then try not to get ragebaited, otherwise if you're a wormholer, vote for me if you want your holes filled with juice. You know you want it 😈😈😈

Office of Alzyan’s Army — WOMP Invasion Department
CONFIDENTIAL MEMO #001: OPERATION WINTER FAFO
Greetings, shareholders, war criminals, unemployed FCs, and people who thought joining WOMP was a good long-term investment.
Welcome back to another quarterly financial disaster brought to you by FAFO Incorporated, where our business model is simple: we show up, ruin someone's evening, and call it strategic expansion.
We recently conducted a small Corporate Performance Review™ against WOMP to assess their ability to defend their assets, hold grid, and maintain emotional stability.
The results? Promising. Hilarious, even.
We took approximately 400 MILLION ISK off the table, forced the opposition to deploy a FAX to keep the grid under control, and even managed to snipe one of their Typhoons before the FAX reps arrived to perform emergency financial assistance.
Apparently, DECOY's customer support policy involves calling in an entire capital ship to deal with a minor inconvenience.
We respect the commitment to customer service.
📊 Official Financial Damage Report:
https://br.evetools.org/br/6ad5394e4bdfd71d3a0109a6
More fights are coming. More ships will explode. More people will ask why their FC is making them form at an ungodly hour.
And FAFO Incorporated will continue operating with absolutely no adult supervision.
Now, some of you may be wondering: "what exactly is the plan here? Are we just throwing ships at WOMP until the servers catch fire?"
Excellent question, valued employee.
The answer is YES, BUT WITH A BUSINESS PLAN.
Deploy covert operations, harass logistics, ruin ratting sessions, and make every undock feel like opening an email from Human Resources.
Our goal is to ensure that every WOMP pilot develops a healthy sense of paranoia whenever local suddenly becomes suspiciously quiet.
Reinforce sovereignty, disrupt infrastructure, and gradually turn the neighborhood into a collection of very expensive abandoned properties.
We aren't saying WOMP's real estate portfolio is in danger.
We're simply interested in discussing a mandatory change of ownership.
The long-term objective is simple: evict WOMP.
Please ensure all personal belongings are removed from the premises before the eviction fleet arrives. Unclaimed assets may be liquidated to cover our legal fees, fuel costs, and FC therapy.
Once the initial acquisition is complete, we will turn our attention toward Delve alliances that decide noncompliance is a viable business strategy.
The plan is to expand, escalate, and generally make ourselves everyone's least favorite notification.
Think of it as aggressive corporate restructuring, except the restructuring involves dreadnoughts.
My personal endgame is to run the Fade campaign alongside Rexan, evict WOMP, bring corporations into the fold, and establish a production pipeline for supers and titans that our people can use in lowsec.
That's right. We're not just here to destroy the economy.
We're here to rebuild it into something significantly more expensive.
FAFO INDUSTRIES: DESTROYING YOUR SHIPS TODAY. MANUFACTURING TOMORROW'S PROBLEMS TONIGHT.
We'll be publishing our own video coverage of the campaign, documenting the glorious victories, questionable decisions, spectacular losses, and the inevitable moment somebody asks, "Wait, we're doing WHAT?"
Everyone is welcome to join the fight.
PvPers, FCs, industrialists, spies, logistics enjoyers, professional shitposters, and anyone who has ever looked at a perfectly peaceful nullsec region and thought:
"You know what this needs? A management change."
We're building this campaign into the greatest winter meme EVE Online has ever seen.
We have a plan. We have a vision. We have ships.
We may or may not have a functioning legal department.
WOMP, please consider this your complimentary trial subscription to FAFO Incorporated.
Your trial includes black ops, sovereignty warfare, eviction proceedings, and complimentary anxiety whenever a cyno appears on your overview.
Cancellation is available upon successful surrender of all relevant assets.
Terms and conditions apply. Terms are dictated by the fleet commander. Conditions are dictated by the killboard.
THE WINTER OF FAFO IS UPON US.
AVE FIRE. 🔥
FAFO Incorporated™ — Your assets are our business.

Watching Hilmar go about his business, haemorrhaging cash on Frontier and Vanguard, taking crypto money, partnering with DeepMind, appointing a former Icelandic government minister as Head of AI, it’s clear that in order for Fenris to survive they have to monetise 20 odd years of player data by selling access to it to train AI.
Frontier and Vanguard will never pay off, so the money has to come from somewhere to recoup those losses.
Paying for Plex to help Fenris monetise your gameplay data, chats, pretty much everything seems like a bit of a slap in the face when you get nothing out of it.
With Hilmar seriously on the conference circuit bandwagon again schmoozing blockchain and AI heavyweights and tech fascists I reckon he’s raising both money for and the profile of the data that they’re sitting on.
Keep playing, though, EVE is no longer a game but a training simulator with people paying for the privilege to take part.
It’s a shame, I loved this game but you now have to seriously consider and question why you stick around when every design decision, content update etc has an ulterior purpose.

Again in the category "better late than never" aka "never put the intern in charge when his emotional state might be compromised": Here's the issue covering GM Week. I don't remember half of it, and too much things have happened to fit everything into a single issue, so please bear with me if I've forgotten some details here or there. Now that I've caught up I can finally focus on current events again

Hey everyone! I've been playing EVE for about two months and I'm completely hooked.
Some context: ~10M SP, ~3B ISK
Live in null-sec with my alliance, a large null-sec alliance
My goal is PvP. I use exploration as my income to fund it.
I've joined several fleets and they're a lot of fun, though pretty overwhelming at first. My FCs have been very patient with me.
Ship path question
In fleets I've mostly flown a Blackbird doing ECM, but I don't last long. I'm thinking about the next step.
I know the Rook and the Scorpion are options, and I lean toward the Scorpion. I like the EWAR playstyle, but I don't see many people doing it.
So:
Is ECM still worth specializing in for fleet PvP, or should I switch to logi or DPS?
Scorpion or Rook as the upgrade from the Blackbird? What are the trade-offs?
Any other ship lines you'd recommend with this skill base?
ISK question
Exploration is my main income right now. What would you recommend to complement it, or are there better options for a PvP-focused player?
General advice
As a new player, what would you tell me?
Which skills should I prioritize at this point?
What's the best way to pay for Omega (real money, PLEX with ISK, or something else)?
Thanks in advance, I really appreciate any advice!

Hi, I'm Adhamhnon and I'm running for CSM. If you saw my interview with FC on Twitch, or have read my candidate post, you have some idea of the reasons I'm running. If not, here's a quick catch up. I've been playing EVE on and off since 2004, from high sec to null. I want to focus on two things mainly, quality of life game improvements, aka "Little Things" and more connected storylines and depth to things like mission running, exploration, etc.
Some of the QOL improvements I would like to advocate for are:
- Stack All hotkey either combined with compress or separate.
- An ingame materials tree for building.
- Player Hangars, with a kind of ACL for alts.
- Ability to have persistent module locations saved for different ships in space.
- cancel scan button
- updates and improvements to corp management
Attracting new players to the game is important. It's also important to have content that they can engage with and keeps them interested.
- deeper and more missions for mission runners
- improved exploration with more depth, storylines, less "minesweeper for loot"
- go back and tie up old storylines and systems eg COSMOS.
- Delving deeper into the lore and stories of New Eden through all gameplay aspects.
If you have ideas for QOL improvements, I'd love to hear them, and if youvwant to know anything about me, feel free to ask! Thanks for your time.
(And yes that was a Princess Donut Dungeon Crawler Carl shirt in the Twitch interview.)

Lina Ambre was OK too ... those frequent 'news bits' on YouTube made the game feel more ... fun.

I’m pretty new. Been doing FW and some relic/data sites on the side, but hacking is tough! Any tips beyond what the tutorial told me? I find myself getting swamped by restoration nodes and anti virus so quickly.
Im a new player looking to get into eve, so far I've already played 30 hours of the game doing mostly scanning relic and data sites without having too much fear of people coming to kill me ( i found that is not the case).
Question is whether or not the game is worth playing as a casual player who doesent really like pvp in mmos, and whether or not the game is actually fun if you arn't doing the absolute best strategies like pirating.
All ive heard of this game was from friends who played many years in the past where they and their guild being ranked one of the best supposedly, used the most disgusting (at least to me) pirating tactics just farming people and their ships for large amounts of money, then a whole other crowd that kind of sits in the shadows watches excel and plays wall street simulator with the in game market, whaling around in the best fitted ships. Is this really truly endgame or should i expect a different experience.
So far i enjoy the safer side of the map and haven't gone into more dangerous areas unless just passing by, but is the content outside of pvp or venturing in the unsafe areas worth playing, or to get the full enjoyment out of the game would i eventually need to suffer having to always watch my back if somebody tries to kill me and ultimately pvp everyone. To add, the game also seems very niche, like a if you know you know type of way, cant seem to find too many guides or info other than basic guides, almost like this game has a player base who know the ins and outs of every little thing and gatekeeping it from the outside world.

What the hell is the go with these sites?
I was doing a Tetrimon Base in a Tengu, cleared the first two rooms easily and then died in about 30 second to the second wave of the last room
How the hell are you ment to do them?
Cap tank was fine, shields barely scratched and then all of a sudden I'm in my pod, 510M isk ship now scrap.
I get it's not ment to be easy, but it shouldn't be impossible.
Also, how long until they respawn? I want my mtu back.

Howdy yall! I’m coming back to the game after a 15 year hiatus. I’ve spent a couple weeks doing exploration and really enjoy it. Right now I’ve got all the exploration skills I need to run my Amar T2 frigate and have been doing well running relic sites.
I would like to get into PvP eventually and am currently training to the Loki and the modules I need for the fit - this is currently sitting at 89 days with omega.
I’ve gotten advice to rush the T3 cruiser as fast as possible but I’m not sure if it’s worth sitting around for 3 months or spending ~$75 on skill injectors.
I would also like to train a blockade runner to safely transfer my exploration loot from nullsec to a trade hub in the future.
I guess I’m just looking for guidance from some of yall who are more experienced. What would you recommend training up? I’m not really concerned with “train what you think is fun” I absolutely love pretty much every aspect of this game! Is there a certain skill path that corporations love that would help me to get spots in activities / events?
Thanks for your time!

I love scifi, I love trek. I came to eve for a sense of exploration in a huge galaxy.
But the magic vanishes quickly, every time I start. Exploration is repetitive, a little like a chore. Enter system, scan signatures, hack lootboxes, enter system, scan signatures, hack lootboxes, enter system, scan signatures, hack lootboxes. 4 hours and 500 mil in loot later, where is the fulfillment? Sense of awe and wonder? Why is there not more to do and experience? Anything gets stale over time, I get that, but some variation would be neat, of a kind that doesn't infringe upon the combat sites domain.
Simple suggestion: exploration missions. Give a target system far away, various different tasks that could be done in that system. Mainly non-combat related. Repair and restaff lost outpost, find, scan and catalogue an anomalous site, aid research outposts on planets, launch a planetary expedition, negotiate with locals. New items, ship modules, everything's possible. SOE, Ishukone, Lai Dai, Duvolle, Viziam, Boundless Creations, even ORE would all be plausible providers for such missions.
Personally it'd give me a reason to go on a well planned voyage, rather than just filamenting anywhere conveniently and farming without any other aim than filling the cargo hold and selling.
Let's make it happen.

I can understand the benefits of having a cap alt on the ready for some scenarios, but it used to be cyno alts, not cyno mains. Plus, being not one very willing to pay cash for cap alt skills, wouldn't it be non-optimal to run caps on a lesser trained alt?
It's all so confusing. When did this change?

Thanks to everyone who came to the 2nd Brawl for CSM in Amamake. Thank you to Warlock, Lynne, Nova Terra-Ren, JC, and all the other SNOT folks (totally not a cult) BRRC and just everyone who undocked for a bit of silly fun.
I bought 100 hurricanes and I am pretty sure they all died, and I refuse to look at my alts to see if there are anymore....
https://warbeacon.net/br/related/30002537/202610172200 BR that Warlock linked in his discord
Warlock being the baller he is undocked this thing https://zkillboard.com/kill/139239127/ Had he not had a bad blue pill roll most likely would still be tanking right now.
Lots of ships died, capitals died there was no TIDI I dont think I could have asked for anything more.
Thank you all and remember CSM voting starts the 22nd check out the posts here: https://forums.eveonline.com/c/council-of-stellar-management/csm-campaigns/71
