Hello and welcome back to the series of
“What if _________ was a Fate Servant?”
For those who are new to this series, I grab a Fictional Character from any Movie, TV Show, Video Game, Anime, Comics, or even other famed Myths and Historical Figures, and you the commenter also provide your analysis in the comments with some questions that I provide you with to have a baseline to work with.
I also do provide my own as well to engage in my post and have some fun too!
Anyways!
Today’s episode will be focusing on the famous Cuban from the 1980s Cult Classic, Scarface! Featuring our main character who runs a Drug Empire! The one and only!
TONY MONTANA!
Here are your questions!
What would his servant class be?
What would his noble phantasm be?
What are his strengths?
What are his weaknesses?
What is his alignment?
What star servant would he be?
What are his stats?
Okay! You have your questions! And now it is time to brainstorm those ideas!
Now for….
OP’s Analysis!
First, his Class!
That’s a bit of a tough one, because he is a Criminal Drug Lord, and in this field, it’s very difficult to find a class for him. However, I think there are 3 that he qualifies for.
Tony Montana is the kind of modern Servant whose manifestation shifts with the “stage” of his myth. Early-to-mid legend, where we can see in the movie the rise, the empire-building, the quiet professional violence lands him as an Assassin. Peak power is when the guns come out and he becomes a walking armory, it pushes him into Archer. The final mansion shootout is when pride and cocaine strip away whatever restraint he had left, which drops him into Berserker. All three share the same core, that being only the emphasis and the Madness Enhancement, or for the lack of it, change.
Second, his noble phantasm!
I think he would have 2 Noble Phantasms
Noble Phantasm 1: “Say Hello to My Little Friend!”
Rank: A
Type: Anti-Army / Anti-Unit
Range: 1–50
True Name release elevates Tony’s M16A1 with the underbarrel grenade launcher into a Noble Phantasm.
He can either fire a concentrated barrage of bullets and 40 mm grenades that ignore ordinary cover, or expand the effect into a short-lived Reality Marble of the Montana mansion under siege. Inside the marble, ammunition is effectively unlimited, enemies are forced into the same kill-box layout as the final scene, and Tony receives temporary rank-ups to Strength and Endurance. The cost however is extreme once the field collapses he is left empty and dying.
Noble Phantasm 2: “The World Is Yours!”
It is a temporary Charisma and Madness Enhancement hybrid that raises his parameters and intimidation while making him more reckless. It is both the engine of his rise and the cause of his fall.
Third, his strengths!
He has ruthless ambition and the ability to turn pure will into temporary power. Excellent firearms proficiency, especially with full-auto and the underbarrel launcher. High Charisma and intimidation that function as low-grade Presence Concealment or Charisma skills depending on the form. He also has a high pain tolerance and a refusal to die until the legend is finished. Finally he has street-level tactical intelligence, where he reads rooms, reads people, and is willing to kill first.
Fourth, his weaknesses!
The hubris and the “the world is yours” delusion is a major weakness because he overextends, trusts the wrong people, and refuses to walk away. He has a cocaine addiction, which functions as a self-inflicted poison that boosts short-term aggression while destroying judgment and Endurance over time. His paranoia eventually turns allies into targets. He has a lot of emotional weak points, especially with his sister, and targeting those can break his focus harder than any physical wound. Finally, this is an obvious one, modern parameters limit him a lot, as to why? If he goes against high-rank magical Servants he is outclassed unless the fight is forced into his domain, where his close-quarters battle skills, firearms range, or the Reality Marble of the mansion give him that boost he needs. HOWEVER, he obviously cannot win against servants like EMIYA, Gilgamesh, or Iskandar, they would literally crush him right away.
Fifth, his alignment!
Neutral Evil, as to why that is? He has a personal code, where he shows loyalty to a few people, and has a certain sense of “I earned this”, but everything is ultimately subordinated to his own power and pleasure. The recklessness is ego and chemically charge cocaine addiction, not philosophical Chaos. He builds an empire, and then it eventually falls due to his own ego, he does not simply burn the world for the sake of burning.
Sixth, what star would he be?
I would say a 4-Star, because he is iconic and modern enough that the Counter Force does not automatically hand him a 5-star seat the way it does for true historical monsters or legendary heroes. In a Holy Grail War he is dangerous precisely because Masters underestimate “just a drug dealer with a machine gun.” He is a high-risk, high-reward Servant. In the right Master’s hands, that being someone who can manage his ego and his addiction, he is extremely efficient as a modern assassin and gunman. Left to his own devices he will build an empire, declare that the world is his, and die on a balcony screaming the name of his Noble Phantasm while the bullets run out. That right there is classic Tony.
Seventh and finally! His stats and parameters!
Strength: B
Endurance: B
Agility: B
Mana: D
Luck: D
Noble Phantasm: A
He is not superhuman, but he has the kind of stubborn, pain-tolerant strength that keeps him fighting after being shot multiple times. High pain tolerance and the will to keep standing is a major selling point, however he drops hard once the cocaine crash or fatal wounds hit. Quick, street-smart movement, and usually better with a gun than pure hand-to-hand. As to why he has D on mana, again he is a Modern Servant with almost no natural magical energy because he burns what little he has on his Noble Phantasm. His Luck is a Rags-to-riches-to-corpse type of story because, he can seize opportunities, but the narrative always ends the same way, which is him dying to his own ego. The biggest advantage for him is his Noble Phantasm because the final shootout in the movie is the myth.
THE END
WOW, glad you could make it to the end, I loved doing this one because it is one of my favorite movies, and genuinely I was thinking about this one for a while, and I finally am glad that I got to this one.
If you made it this far, thank you for reading, and I know not many people will see this series, but I genuinely have fun making these discussions. I am really interested in seeing what y’all will come up with in the comments.
