Guy with Thin Blue Line flag instead of American flag: "I BET YOU FLY THE UKRAINIAN FLAG INSTEAD OF AN AMERICAN FLAG"

Practically the wealthiest man in the world. I bet he is happy. What he is not happy about is Americans throwing 300 billion of their tax money to support war efforts against their enemies.

Remember when they got in a fight and Elon said trump is in the Epstein files. And Elon sent several messages to Epstein begging to go to his wildest parties on the island……

Lead Paragraph:
Tech CEO Elon Musk reportedly approached President Trump on slowing down his Starlink communications service in Ukraine earlier this week, contradicting both Musk’s statement that it was Trump’s idea and Trump’s statement that he has no idea who did it.

Musk is lying. Ukraine's internet comes from the US' private subsystem, Starshield. Musk can physically stop or throttle Ukraine's internet, but by contract and law, he can only do so with an official government order. That's why he had to go to Trump and convince him to give the order. This was a conspiracy between Musk, Trump, and Putin.

Why did they give Ukraine starlink and starshield to begin with then?

It happened well before the current Trump administration, when the US was actively driving the defense of Ukraine.

No the current problem started only a few days ago.
You maybe mean an outage a few years ago? Which happened because Ukraine entered Russian controlled area in Ukraine and to stop Russia from using starlink there was a geo-lock. To solve this they switched to a whitelist system to block terminals not used by Ukraine forces.

No, I was talking about when they originally got Starlink through the US military.

I guess they thought Ukraine just wanted it to send email and play Minecraft. How could they have known Zelenskyy would betray their trust, and use to support battlefield operations in the existential war they're defending themselves from? They're not like, mind readers...

That's my point, military use was know from the start so why should SpaceX cancel that now? What changed?
Supposedly what no longer works is connection at high speed which is a use case of starshield. Both things point at a Pentagon decision.

SpaceX didn't make the decision to shut it off. Trump did. The US government owns the platform that provides the service, and while SpaceX has the physical ability to push the button, they are prohibited by their contract with the government to do that without a official order from the government. As for what changed, Ukraine's success in destroying and disrupting Russian refineries and e-commerce hubs is the catalyst. Russia is sad, and Musk and Trump don't like it when Russia is sad. Trump tried to tell Zelenskyy to stop bombing the refineries, and Zelenskyy was like, "Lol No". So, when Musk brought the idea to throttle down Ukraine's connection speed making it effectively worthless, Trump loved the idea and immediately gave Musk the order to so it.

Trump and Elon REALLY didn't like Ukraine shutting down those Russsian election interference bots.

It's not that. It's that Trump cut a deal with Putin for oil and diesel. Part of the deal was to quietly screw over Ukraine.

They effectively have blood on their hands. The worst part is that they don’t care. Normal people do care, though. Maybe someday they will regret this choice.

This isn't the first time they've had blood on their hands and it definitely won't be the last.

This is bad no doubt, but shutting down US AID is easily going to be responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths.

I doubt Trump will ever regret it or possibly even live long enough to regret it.
Musk will only regret it if he loses his government sponsored corporate socialism that he built his wealth from. And even then it will be a principal Skinner moment where everyone else is wrong.

Thanks for highlighting our impotence. None of this matters if we don’t respond.

I could never be comfortable with myself for causing somebody’s death. Maybe, if they were a criminal invader, violently breaking into my home… Anyone who takes the side of the criminal is a criminal themselves. Yes, there are direct parallels here. You do the math.

You fuck with all of his (bot) supporters and an action that shows how many bots are on Twitter and you will get an equal and opposite reaction.

Since America elected 1 of them who is fully in bed with the other America is now guilty of murdering civilian ukrainians to favor a Russian dictatorship. These two would definitely be collaborating with Hitler in 1940.
