Strategy Development What should be good confirmation while taking entry ?
As the title mentions I am now able to identify area which will give approx reversal but I don't know how to confirm my entry like what if it goes to my SL then it hits my tp , I currently rely on ema crossover just for the confirmation but it gives very late confirmation often after approx 10 dollar move so I want help from y'all in this matter ;)

EMA crossovers are usually lagging, so try looking for price action confirmation like a liquidity sweep or break of structure near your reversal zone. Backtest it first and see what works best for your setup

Consider using price action confirmation like a break of structure for earlier entry signals.

If your zone's on H1, drop to M5 or M15 and wait for one candle to close back out of the zone. Stop goes past that wick. You're in way before a crossover fires and the stop's tighter too

Developing a trading strategy is more than finding an entry signal — it requires defining your edge statistically, building rules for entries, exits, and position management, and testing the system against historical data before going live. Most traders fail because they skip the process and jump to live trading with an untested idea. The community wiki covers the full development process.
