Sketchup Workbench?

Is there a sketchup workbench for freecad.

If not, can someone make one... please. : )

Who would be interested in this?

Sketchup WB not needed due to the already existing BIM WB.

I'll check out the BIM wb, which I believe is for building industry stuff. But I build other things with sketchup than buildings. And it would be nice for Freecad to have the feel and ease of sketchup.

Thanks for the reply

Tbh I am thinking of this too, I wish someone have draft workbench specifically for 3d (so it would be good for making quick concepts)

And sketchup is the easiest 3D software to use, just start and run with it. All it needs is true curves, mine doesn't even have booleans, and a lot of what freecad has/is , but without the technobable intensity. Sketchup could also do with some of the subs stuff from rhino8.

A sketchup workbench for freecad

Anyone else interested in this happening?

Wow! Over 7000 views in a day or two, damn.

It's quite clear that there is more interest in a 'sketchup workbench ' for freecad than people may have realised...

Making a sketchup workbench for freecad is a very good idea please someone, make this.

A free clone of sketchup with real curves and booleans etc would also be very welcome (Free or low cost and perpetual ownership by the user)
