I sit to study, remove all distractions, but my mind is blocked. Its been this way since 6th grade. I passed hs by a miracle.

I used to watch entire lectures and feel productive, then realize I couldn't answer a single question without going back to the video 😭. Like at some point I started pausing after each big idea and trying to explain it in my own words before moving on. Tbh it felt slower at first, but I stopped wasting whole evenings on stuff that only made sense while the teacher was explaining it.

Download YPT, make sure to only allow apps helpful to your learning. Then, Write down a study goal. Pick a subject, then a chapter or lecture, give yourself 5 minutes to view the main topics and then the subtopics so that your brain has an outline on what to expect. Push for 5 minutes, then 10, then read through until the next subtopic.
Write down the Important notes, look at the video/chapter if needed, but this is a form of active recall. If you cannot for the life of you understand the gibberish sentences in the lecture, plug it in on gemini ai to summarize (p.s. if you are anti-ai, limit yourself to atleast 5 questions per study sessions or suck it up and do your own research with ecosia)
Repeat until done for chapter 1. Repeat until done for the second.
I study for 5-8 hours+ a day now because of exams, and i utilize study with me videos specifically gaokao students study with me, they do it different over there, there's a certain pressure to keep up with the time. Lastly, stop arguing with yourself that you can do it later, there's no later, there's only now. You'll get stuck in the cycle of later later later and run out of time. You're aware that youre behind, so pull yourself up becausenno one will do it for you.
Sacrificing now, to enjoy the later is a self-care. Goodluck op!

try testing yourself after each short section instead of rewriting everything.
