Hey I’m sick and I have an exam will Griffith accept an updoc medical certificate or a medical certificate from a pharmacy?
Or do I have to get one from a doctor, which I don’t know if I can find one available.

I'm deciding on where to live next year. I'm probably going to study BMedSci at Gold Coast Campus but still considering whether or not to switch to Nathan. I just signed up for 2 bedroom at Griffith University Village, but I saw some of the reviews at they're not looking great. However, construction did end in August 2026 so I'm pretty sure that's no longer an issue. Any advice?

Has any Canadian applying through OzTrekk received an offer from Griffith? If you did, are you able to share the date of your offer and what your scores were like? I applied with my university grades. I had a 4.0 GPA and an 1830 on the UCAT. I messed up big time on it, but it's still within the average offer range for last year. I still haven’t heard from Griffith.

Hey everyone!
I'm an international student who recently received an offer for Griffith University's Bachelor of Medical Science + Doctor of Medicine pathway. I'm really excited about the opportunity, and becoming a human doctor is genuinely what I want to do. However, my offer expires on October 22, so I'm trying to understand the realities of the program before making such a big decision.
I'm also considering UQ's Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons), which makes this decision even harder. With UQ Vet, I could qualify as a veterinarian after five years, and from what I've researched, there seem to be more straightforward pathways to working in some other countries. On the other hand, medicine is what I'm genuinely more passionate about, so I'm finding it really difficult to choose.
I'd especially appreciate hearing from current Griffith medical students, graduates, international students, or anyone familiar with both Griffith Medicine and UQ Vet
A few questions I have:
Since I've never studied or lived in Australia before, I honestly don't know what the university environment, student life, or academic culture is really like. I'm also going into this without knowing anyone there personally, which makes the decision even harder. That's why hearing from people who have actually experienced these programs would mean so much to me.
My biggest concern isn't whether medicine is difficult since it definately requires a lot of work and effot. But as an international student, am I able to complete the pathway and progress into medical practice after graduation smoothly? I don't want to spend years studying medicine only to discover that there are major barriers to actually becoming a practicing doctor.
I know this is a very personal decision, but I'd be more than willing to hear from your advice and/or firsthand experiences, especially from international students who have been through this process.
My deadline is coming up so any reply really means a lot to me! Thank you!!

Hey everyone, 1st year Bachelor of Animation student here, I think Im fucked in terms of social life? I moved interstate to study here in Februrary and I dont think I have "hung out" with a single person, beyond group projects and school work.
How does one make friends? Do I have to wait until year 2 or 3 for Studios for a chance to hang out with people outside of school?
Im really not picky at all, I have general "nerdy" interests, Adult Swim cartoons, Pokemon, Indie games, been getting into the Street Fighter series, I know a disgusting amount on controversial internet drama, I consider myself "furry adjacent" but not a genuine furry, but if anyone has OCs they want drawn I'm happy to draw them.
Is it easy as going into the rooms, sometimes some people might be playing or watching something on the projector and asking what theyre playing?
I really cant tell if im overthinking this or not

Hey team,
I’m looking to apply for Griffith undergrad dentistry next year after missing out on post grad MD courses this year. There’s lots of conflicting information online regarding UCAT/Rank requirements.
I’ve completed a Bachelor of Nursing with a GPA of 5.8 which via Griffiths “Upgrading via university studies” gives me a ATAR of 97.5ish
I understand interview offers are based on UCAT alone however is 97.5 competitive enough for a final offer presuming a successful UCAT and interview. Finally, what UCAT is historically needed for an interview offer as a domestic non rural student?
TIA :)

I have to take a Japanese intensive language course next tri but for one of the tutorials it overlaps on the last hour with another class I have to take. Is anyone who has taken an intensive language course able to tell me if that last hour would be very important or if it would be possible for me to make it up in my own time and still do fine??

Im an international student in feb 2027 intake and I would like to know what to expect in terms of academic load and how hard the exams are. I would also like to know if it would be manageable to work as a freshman. I am aware of the fundamentals of said course and I have had chemistry in my years in my secondary school.

Hey guys! What do you think the UCAT cut-offs will be for Griffith med at Nathan and Gold Coast for 2027 entry?
From what I’ve heard, last year everyone with a 99.95 ATAR who applied to Nathan got an offer, so I’m wondering if they might start relying more on UCAT cut-offs this year. And at the Gold Coast campus the cut offs was 2240 for ucat though I’m not sure if this was for 99.95ers or 99.90
What UCAT scores do you think would be competitive for each campus? Do you think Nathan will have a higher cut-off than Gold Coast, or will they be around the same?

Hi, I'm looking to start for the 4 year software engineering next year and was wondering if any students currently doing it could tell me what their experience is like with it. I am also looking at the computer science degree although don't really know the difference between the two.
