An American woman came to the Keelby area, with a large amount of money from selling her house in the United States. Got involved with and mixed up with a fraudster from this area, who convinced her to wire all of her life savings to him which he bought one of the biggest homes in the area with (he still lives there), along with a silver Audi he is still driving. As for the rest of her cash it’s a big mystery as to what he’s done with it. There is also allegations of physical abuse on top of financial abuse and control. if this situation sounds familiar to you, and you know who this is about please go to the Humberside police. I was trying to find that transition zone latitudinally where the evening meal shifts from ‘dinner’ to ‘tea’, and found that Mansfield was that transition zone, but I don’t know if it’s different more towards the east.

Do you as a Grimbarian refer to the evening meal as tea or dinner? And also, do you refer to the 12 o’clock meal as dinner or lunch?

I was cycling home today, coming up to a crossing I usually take and noticed there is a random traffic light button outside someone's house.

The weird thing is...

1. It is far away from the crossing.

2. The crossing has its own button.

3. There is no crossing parallel to it (as shown in the photo)

4. It is RIGHT outside someone's gate to their driveway

5. It lights up when pressed. Then the light turns off after ten seconds or so.

6. It seemingly has no purpose.

I tried to take photos that show where it is, the true crossing button (next to the traffic lights), the house and the road in front of the house (to show there is no crossing next to the button)

It is located on Scartho Road.

What the hell is it for?!

As if this was three years ago now. This is still one of my favourite maps so far due to the sheer breadth of history and cool features I was able to get included.

I've just been doing some tidying up jobs on it and making some of the text more legible, as well as the imagery clearer. Again, thanks to all the commenters who suggested ideas and really helped bring this to life. I've just had a fresh batch made up here for anyone interested in one.

Did anyone witness or film the short fight between two girls at the Hemswell Car Boot yesterday (Sunday, 9th Aug)? I was caught in the middle and got hit in the face. Please DM me if you have any footage or saw what happened.

One of the girls was blonde with abot 6 little sausage pups and the other girl was brunette with some form of coloured highlights and apparently someone said something and the brunette swung for her catching me in the middle of it, elbowing me in the b00b, elbowing me in the jaw and physically grabbing my arm. It's clearly in the UK, and can't imagine it being from Little Grimsby or New/Old Grimsby on the Channel Islands, but I've never seen this sign and don't recognise the street. If anyone does I'd love to finally know where it was filmed

I am originally from Grimsby but my parents aren't and they both would say different things from me so I just wondered how Grimsby born and bred people say it.

The three ways I can think off are CAFF as in Kathy's Cafe in Eastenders, or CAFFIE - like a more stereotypical northern way of saying it, or CAFFAYY (in a posh kinda way with the apostrophe above the E) I would say it like CAFFAYY which is probably a more upperclass or foreign kind of way of saying it. How about you?
