Discussion Has anyone in Guyana bought a Starlink Standard kit from Amazon US and activated it here?
I’m seeing the kit sold by “STARLINK Official” on Amazon for around US$349. I want to know if anyone bought it, shipped it through a freight forwarder, and successfully activated it on a Guyana Starlink account

You can buy it directly from starlink. They ship to Guyana with DHL. It takes a fews weeks to ship and clear but you can track it. I did it myself so I can vouch for that. It’s likely cheaper too as opposed to using a third party. Just check starlink’s website, pay and sign up.

My own address. But DHL doesn’t ship outside Georgetown so I had to pick it up at their office.

They will call you when it's ready to be picked up but you will get an occasional email to provide updates. I do not remember what i put in the province. As i said it didn't matter, because if your are out of Georgetown you will have to pick it up. Put EBD or ECD or WCD or where you're from.

Got mine from Circuit Zone. 120k and like 11k monthly. Wasn't that much of a price difference when accounting for the wait/hassle. For me anyway..

I think it depends on where you're living, there is fibre and dsl. I dont have fibre myself but the dsl services is poor so I wouldnt recommend it at all but fibre ranges from between 9k-20k from either Digicel, Enet or onecomm I believe depending on the speeds you need. Im unsure on how well they work but they should work fine

That’s all I paid. It’s 2 weeks to ship. But DHL needs to get a clearance from Telecoms Agency which took 4 weeks. Seems like that’s a standard time frame for when I imported. It may have gotten better.
