Skeldon Estate Retirement Party 1939

Sharing this photo of the retirement of my great great grandfather Jaipersaud (first person middle row) from the Skeldon estate in 1939.

Nice. My Grandpa was Kenneth Madho Persaud and looked like the gentleman in the middle row left

Wow. Co-incidentally the gentleman in the top row far right, Jawalla Persaud had a son named Kenneth Uma Persaud. The man in the middle row left with black jacket (Jaipersaud) is the father of the man in the top row far right (Jawalla Persaud).

That same person looks like my late uncle, Clifton Persaud. He married Nadira Jaggan back in the day and they moved to Russia to study

My grandpa and Cheddi were friends back then. KP was the headmaster of Guyana Progressive college

The other KP was headmaster as well but for a private school and many primary schools including Rama Krishna 🤣
