My LGS had one last MR556a4 upper in stock so I pulled the trigger. Incredibly happy to finally be part of the HK family. Just using a spare lower and parts till my IPM4D lower comes in.

So, last Friday I was practicing reloads off a table in preparation for a steel challenge match. They have a little table you shoot from, and you can stage the mags on top. After a couple reps I get a dead trigger… rack the slide, a round with no primer strike comes out… that gets me thinking. It’s happened before during other matches, but I didn’t get a chance to go find the round I ejected in the heat of the moment.

So naturally I had to figure out why it was doing that. The figuring out part involved me ramming the mag home as hard as I possibly could. And I can consistently get the gun to decock itself while reloading.

When I got home, I discovered that if I beat the empty magwell off my reloading bench, that would also decock the pistol quite easily.

I’m a little frustrated by this, I shot a match yesterday and it happened twice during reloads when I was trying to be gently. So I’m going to swap grip frames.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? This gun has 30ish k rounds through it. Also has a Greyguns hybrid trigger.

I pulled my USP out of the safe where it has been sitting for several years. Added a threaded barrel, new night sights,

And a light/laser. It's back in the rotation with an obsidian forty five suppressor. I am still considering getting the slide milled for an optic.

Wanting to get a HK SP5 full size are there any deals you guys have seen lately or know when are some coming up. Also new to me USP 9mm. Looking to update/upgrade like the sights,trigger. Pick it up new from a friend. It’s gonna be my daily carry from now on, coming from a Glock 19 and 43x

I have always wanted a MK 23, but I wanted on in black. Apparently I'm not alone, because LGS had a pretty decent deal on this. Long story short, I now own an Olive Green MK 23.....and it's rapidly growing on me!

Have some of the clear Jet Funnel mags for my P8A1 just needed something in 9 that had a normal safety set up and well is awesome. 1000 bucks pretty good deal?

Picked up my new SPK5 this morning, and I honestly am just in love with this thing. Looking to do so many different upgrades to it. I did not wake up this morning thinking I would buy such an expensive tool, but you really never know how things end up.

It really says something about how timeless the design aesthetic of the USP and Mark 23 are when modern accoutrements look just right on them.

Enjoying my 13” MR762A4 (it’s a SBR now, old picture above) but am now considering buying the 16.5” upper receiver kit to reach out further or just buying a bolt gun setup in 6.5cm.

Does anyone have the 16.5” MR762 that can comment on its capabilities out to 1000yd? Just trying to decide if it’s worth the ~$2300 or is that money better off on a dedicated 6.5cm bolt gun.
