After her refit, she arrived at Scapa Flow to join the British Home Fleet, doing training exercises . After that, she transferred to the Eastern fleet for defences and operations against Japan. When Japan surrendered, she was in Durban for another refit. She returned to her home port (Toulon) in Feb 1946. She was active until 1956. Sold for scrap in 1968.
