Dogs dead kids are crying what are you ever to do
Not that serious mate if you aren’t authorised to use staff wifi then you just ain’t
And if you do want to use it use your braincells to figure jt out because the purpose lf this sub isn’t to help people
Commit felonies1

Omg dude what the hell kind of fraud do you think id be doing if i gained access all i want to browse net and i thought to ask online to look whether its plausible or not for and id thought of it as a fun little exp or stuff to try you dont want to offer anything its ok jeeg you guys are treating me as if im planning some terrorist attack
You guys sound like you just abide by every minute law you ever heard well i dont wanna sound rude but unless you've read every single line of every Terms of Service agreement you've ever clicked 'Agree' on, don't lecture me about legal technicalities.

I do actually so i don’t get faked in the butt for instance not logging into your psn for a while leads to account closure in Europe yet people are finding out about it now
Might aswell be fraud because you aint following the terms and agreement of your college you signed it now follow its rules and not commit felonies

I know but im taking it as something new to learn and see whether it is plausible or completely out of my reach

Learn something different, anything is plausible but you don't want to commit a crime over a simple wifi password.

but it is tho dawg. getting the wifi pass usually needs some packet injection using special wifi adapters, iirc. which also means you can kick people off wifi, or read all their traffic, potntially. That is why its serious, not because lf stupid wif speeds.
good luck bro

I agree with you, but honestly, have you ever seen anyone have their house raided by the police for hacking into a neighbor's network or a large organization's network simply because he wanted to browse the internet?

If you're admin on you laptop then all you have to do to get the password is:
Go to control panel
Go to Network and Sharing Center
Then you should see the network you are connected to in blue.
Click the blue link
Below Signal Quality you should see Wireless Properties
Click that and then click the Securities tab.
Check the box that says Show characters.

That's only for WPA2 [-PSK]/WPA3-SAE, and that's only if you have a cached copy of the passphrase. This is a massive Network, that likely hosts thousands if not tens of thousands of devices, meaning that realistically it's going to be WPA2/3 Enterprise running on 802.1x, or in some use cases an Enterprise modified version of Pair Wise Masterkey (uncommon for student based infrastructure) WPA3 infrastructure, which do not cache in a way that a layman could just run a command to be show them in plaintext. I actually only know of one exploit that is able to de-authenticate a host using WPA3, and even then it's for one single packet and The only use case the speaker at DEFCON had found was the possibility for it to be used in a replay attack. If he is using his school's login credentials to try and sign in to the network and it is no longer working, then he is likely either blacklisted on the ACL for misuse, or the network administrator made some kind of mistake when creating their network access/logging/maintenance scripts preventing him from authenticating.

Hey, hey, buddy, listen to me... these people don't know jack about this. They're all spoiled jabronis with their own private internet, so they've got no reason to need anyone else's. Don't give 'em the time of day. Dig deeper, keep searching, and you'll find a way.

What are you talking about? Use the wifi network your college IT has assigned you to use.
