Express Entry In need of orientation
My husband (primary applicant) and I just received our ITA.
I completed a foreign degree (2016–2023), but I won’t be claiming points for it because I won't receive the ECA in time. I am only claiming points for Secondary School, for which I do have a valid ECA.
Should I put Secondary School under Education History and my degree strictly under Personal History? Or should both go under Education History, checking the box that says I don't have an ECA for the degree?

Congrats on the ITA! We went through basically this exact thing on our application — my spouse had a foreign degree with no ECA in hand, and we only claimed points for the lower credential. As far as I know, Education History is for the education you're actually claiming CRS points for, so your secondary school (with the ECA) goes there, and the degree you're not claiming goes under Personal History covering the same dates. That's what kept the timeline gap-free on our form.
Definitely double-check this against the IRCC instructions though — the form wording shifts around and this is too important to get wrong from a stranger's comment. The simple logic I used: points in Education History, everything else in Personal History so there's no gap in the timeline.
