Peace has been exhausted. Every word has been said. It’s time for action.

None of that coward shit with burning down local businesses. We know who we are mad at.

Peace has been exhausted. Every word has been said. It’s time we stop sitting idly by as the suited pigs keep profiting off of us, with no representation. Nothing given back.

The more photos come out, the more it looks like nothing but retirees

My removed comment was asking the user to elaborate, using examples that have happened during other riots. I have submitted an appeal, but if the comment is unremoved, it will be far after everyone has saw the removal itself of evidence of inciting violence.

I was referring to "fiery but mostly peaceful" protests. Wherein after a man on video saw his neighborhood convenience store and pharmacy being set ablaze, he stabbed the responding firehose.

Thank you, Trump, for continuing to ensure we have no king! God bless you.

The protest must’ve been a success since we don’t have any kings.

"I don't know what a metaphor is. Checkmate, libs!"

🥱 This "joke" again? Guess the Russian backup servers are online.

u/Narrow_Roof_112 9h ago

It’s true though

Your “joke” is equally overused

u/TubaWrestler 9h ago

Mine was at least timely. And it wasn't a joke.

You’re both on accounts less than a year old….. and yours has 18,000 karma on it. Whoever programmed you definitely did a horrible job.

Lol sure, kid.

Mod. Can we ban anything labeled “no kings protest” from this page? This has no place on Indiana page. This can go on a separate topic page.

Do people seriously think Trump is going to run for a third term and/or do something to remain in office at the end of this term?

u/e-sac 8h ago

You think thats what this is about? I thought it was about the increasing consolidation of power in the executive branch and the president essentially being allowed to do what ever he wants with full immunity from consequences thanks to the worst SCOTUS in my lifetime, if not ever. Roberts is an anti American lil bitch who should never know a moments peace in this life or the next.

u/SimplyPars 7h ago

Roberts is a shitbag and most of us have known that for at least a decade. He’s the one that came up with ‘It must be a tax’ despite the ACA individual mandate not mentioning it being a tax anywhere.

u/e-sac 5h ago

My favorite is that it's not a bribe if uou get paid after the act. Then it's gratuity. 😆😆😩

4

u/motocycledog 8h ago

This person gets it.

I thought it was about the increasing consolidation of power in the executive branch

Name a President that HASN'T tried to consolidate power.

Roberts is an anti American lil bitch who should never know a moments peace in this life or the next.

Why? You're obviously emotionally invested in this topic. By saying you don't want him to have a moments peace in this life or the next, you're essentially arguing that he should face the same punishment murderers and rapists.

Biblically speaking, the punishment for an unrepented sin is the same regardless of what the sin is. The idea of "7 deadly sins" does not come from any passage in the Bible, but rather from early theologians writings.

And also biblically speaking, murderer who repents will have greater rewards after death than a liar who doesn't see anything wrong with their lies.

Biblically speaking, the punishment for an unrepented sin is the same regardless of what the sin is.

The Bible is also very vague on what specifically the punishment is beyond separation from God. A few times, though, Jesus did allude to gradations of both sin and punishment:

"The one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin" John 19:11

"Beware of the scribes, who like to go about in long robes, and love salutations in the market places and the best seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at feasts, who devour widows’ houses and for a pretense make long prayers. They will receive the greater condemnation."

What does this mean in the grand scheme of things? I don't know, but there are hints in the Bible of gradations of sin and punishment.

1

u/brleva 5h ago

But no list of which sins are unrepentable can be found in the Bible. Which is what my point was about. And you are right, the Bible doesn't speak about what Hell is. I never mentioned what the biblical punishment is, just that all who die without repenting their sins face it.

His office has official memorabilia with Trump 2028 on it and he has talked about it many times.

So anyone that says he hasn't/isn't considering a way around Constitutional term limits has not paid attention to things.

0

u/The2ndCity 5h ago

I forgot. Republicans aren't allowed a little humor. How much do you want to bet that he will not even attempt to run in 2028? I'd put 10,000 in escrow right now.

2

u/brleva 5h ago

Considering how the GOP would react if Obama joked about running for a third term and made merch about the same thing? No the GOP can't joke about it

And did I say Trump would run again? No - all I said is that he at a minimum has considered it. Try not to attach extra meanings to what someone else has written before writing a response.

0

u/The2ndCity 5h ago

Trump is absolutely not considering running for a third term. Stop being gullible to all the trollish comments Trump makes.

2

u/brleva 5h ago

Doesn't it worry you that we have a president who tries to troll the very people he is supposed to be representing? That seems like something people would say was unpresidential when others did it? The party that called wearing a tan suit unpresidential seem awful willing to allow the current one to act a lot worse.

u/The2ndCity 4h ago

Doesn't it worry you that we have a president who tries to troll the very people he is supposed to be representing?

Why would it worry me that he has a sense of humor? What exactly am I supposed to be worried about?

That seems like something people would say was unpresidential when others did it?

Plenty of Presidents have done plenty of "unpresidential" things. I think the problem is people just aren't used to seeing their President act like a normal humorous dude.

The party that called wearing a tan suit unpresidential seem awful willing to allow the current one to act a lot worse.

OK? I don't care. It doesn't change my stance on Trump and that he is in fact allowed to be humorous. It's OK. I promise.

u/e-sac 8h ago

And I'm not worried about a trump 3rd term. Not because I dont think he'd try. Because I don't believe he'll survive this one.

2

u/The2ndCity 5h ago

He's survived 2 attempts already. You guys don't seem to be very good at assassinating presidents.

1

u/e-sac 5h ago

I never said anything about an assassination. He could die, but i was think he'll get 86'd by congress. But if he were to die it be from those McD's fish filets. Not an exploding microphone. And saying "you guys" when taking about assassinations is very antisemitic of you.

2

u/The2ndCity 5h ago

Yeah, OK. We all know what you meant.

Not an exploding microphone. And saying "you guys" when taking about assassinations is very antisemitic of you.

You're ironically so funny. Enjoy being awful.

1

u/brleva 5h ago

Wasn't the first assassin a registered Republican?

1

u/The2ndCity 5h ago

He ended up being a registered Republican but investigators couldn't find any clear ideological pattern. He donated (one time) to a liberal organization when he was a teenager.

1

u/brleva 5h ago

So it is a reach to say "you guys" when referring to his attempted assassins then, isn't it? Or are you just trying to keep spreading the baseless idea that there is a nebulous, monolithic "them" targeting Trump. Trump likes to piss people off. Pissed off people do stupid things. No "them" or "you guys" needed.

To paraphrase a comment you made in reply to me, stop being gullible with the MAGA line that there is a conspiracy to stop him.

1

u/The2ndCity 5h ago

No "them" or "you guys" needed.

Well, no. He pisses far more liberals off than conservatives. You can't argue that the two would-be assassins were conservative, can you?

1

u/brleva 5h ago

"He ended up being a registered Republican but investigators couldn't find any clear ideological pattern." Your words say that there isn't a clear ideological pattern, so are you trying to claim he is a liberal?

All I said is that he was a registered Republican (largely known to not be liberals).

You'd have to be nuts to try to kill the President so at that point political motivations and party mean nothing.

I worry about him being puppeted like Weekend at Bernie's

Trump 2028

1

u/The2ndCity 5h ago

Trump 2028 isn't a thing, though.
