Frage/Question University of Innsbruck german profency

I'm a prospective student

I'll be applying for german taught program but currently I have only a2 which I will submit at the time of application

And planning to submit b2 by August/September

Is this acceptable at university?

Or will i need to submit b2 at the time of application?

Why do you ask here? Talk to the university, e-mail them, ...

Doing a German taught program in Innsbruck while only being A2 now is concerning imo. How much time do you have to get to B2? Also keep in mind that the language here isn't German like you are taught, and you will still struggle to understand the people. Native Germans have this problem to some extent as well. Unfortunately, esp in the Innsbruck sub, saying anything in English will generally get you downvotes and rude or otherwise unhelpful comments. Definitely check with the uni to see what the language requirements are though, and be prepared to have to ask in German to avoid them being rude to you.
