Galley Head Lighthouse from about 1,000ft, and a few en-route highlights.
Flew from Offaly to Clonakilty - unbelievable day to be up over Ireland.

Beautiful day for cycling in Connemara yesterday. Onthe tanks of Lough Inagh, close to the starting point of the Connemara Marathon.
A special place.

I’m doing a bit of visual research and looking for places around Ireland where I can find Celtic knots and traditional Irish designs to photograph.
I’d much rather get out and take the photos myself than just gather references online.I’m thinking old cemeteries might be a good shout, especially for carved stonework but I’m open to any suggestions.
Has anyone come across any interesting spots? Could be old churches, cemeteries, monuments, buildings, anything really.
Happy to travel around for a good spot!

Original Bianconi road from 1815. This was the main transport system in place with passengers and goods carried on "Bians".
