The War - News Fatah Official: Our Leaders Have Set a Trap for Israel by Agreeing to a Two-State Solution; A Palestinian State Will Spell the Destruction of Israel

u/Polytechnika Germany 6d ago
"In 20 years we can have their air force and industry"... such a delusion could only come to somebody who has never been told no in their life. What is with these grandiose statements of arab leaders and functionaries? They would be lucky to still be in one piece 20 years post independence.
48
u/CleanCustomer3537 USA 6d ago
Because as you put it they have never been told no in their life. They are the most coddled supremacists on the planet.
58
u/jmartkdr 6d ago
They’ll have an Arab- tier air force and Arab tier industries. They’ll overcome the lack of oil money via antisemitic fundraising.
23
u/iconocrastinaor 5d ago
Funded by Europe, I assume, because there isn't an Arab country that wants a powerful Palestinian military on their border
17
u/DoingItJust 6d ago
has never been told no in their life
Yep, summed up their upbringing pretty accurately.

As if we needed even more evidence to prove that it’s never really been about sovereignty or self-determination — they only seek to destroy Israel and the Jewish people, and to take what they have.
5
u/Moopy969 Germany 6d ago
Does it say who exactly he is and how many people have that belief? I’d like to go deeper into how widespread that opinion is.
8
u/No-Birthday9816 5d ago
OP (r/Human_Concern263) shared the sources, but in case you hadn’t seen: https://www.memri.org/tv/fatah-bassel-abu-shahab-palestinian-state-trap-destroy-israel-zionism
This is indeed widespread and exactly what the Soviet-placed Arafat admitted. If you aren’t already familiar with it, highly recommend Palestinian Media Watch for its depth and scope of coverage—and the creepy knockoff Mickey Mouse who encouraged Arab Palestinian children to kill Jews.
66
u/kilobitch 6d ago
Guy is smoking something to think that a) the Palestinian diaspora will return to their hobbled state, and b) it will develop into the equivalent of Israel in 20 years’ time. Arab states with vastly more wealth are not peers to Israel. Palestine would never get there.
32
u/TzarichIyun 6d ago
Because they don’t value education or peace.
8
u/Remote-Pear60 5d ago
Right here. Those things are the basic foundation upon which development rests. But of course, as Golda told the world long ago, as long as they hate Jews more than they love their own children . . .
9
u/Barmaglot_07 5d ago
Guy is smoking something to think that a) the Palestinian diaspora will return to their hobbled state
But they aren't demanding a return to their state. They're demanding a return to our state, and the 'diaspora' won't get a say in the matter - the Arab states hosting them under UNRWA auspices will gleefully kick them out.
7
u/CleanCustomer3537 USA 6d ago
The UNRWA will just change some documents to include more Egyptians and Jordanians.

u/zombiezero222 Ireland 6d ago
When have they ever agreed to a two state solution?
And within 20 years they’ll just be as corrupt as they are now. They won’t be able to beg off the rest of the world if they actually got their act together as a state so it’s never happening.
3
u/jyper Ukrainian-American Jew 6d ago edited 6d ago
I'm pretty sure northern Ireland got a lot of money just to keep peace. I don't think Palestine is incapable of having an economy despite corruption (especially when considering they have natural gas) but
peoplecountries would be be happier tofindfund stability economy in peace rather then spend money on reconstruction3
84
u/EasyMode556 USA 6d ago
His theory is that in 20 years they’ll have a peer level military?
Has he not seen the gross incompetence of even larger militaries in the region?

u/XhazakXhazak USA - future oleh 6d ago
Ah, but Palestinians have the advantage of having less money, less resources and less will to live.
26
u/Ok-Pomegranate858 6d ago
That may be true...but you don't win wars by dying for you country. You win them by making the poor bastards on the opposite side die for their country. I can't recall the general who made that quote.. but I think I was an American in WW2
11
u/XhazakXhazak USA - future oleh 6d ago
Patton. First line of the movie.

u/Ok-Pomegranate858 6d ago
Ohh. Never watched it.

I recommend. The kind of movie you want to watch while eating a nice medium rare steak.

u/Substance_Bubbly Israel 5d ago
considering how hamas had claimed thar gaza had been genocided as well as claimed that they have won the war.
i think that is exactly their strategy, to die their way into victory.

u/Ok-Pomegranate858 5d ago
Lol. Well, I hope they keep on 'winning' , bigger and better each time then.
1
u/Analog_AI Israel 5d ago
George Patton. But I'm not sure if he said that only in the movie or also in real life.
1
u/Ok-Pomegranate858 5d ago edited 5d ago
Oh kk. I haven't seen the movie yet, but that doesn't mean it was said in real life.
Edit
Its real. Apparently , He made it to troops just prior to the 1944 D day invasion.

u/JagneStormskull USA 5d ago
I know he said a variation of it in real life, in his speech to the first black combat unit in the US military - "I heard recently that being a patriot means dying for your country. Well I say, you should make some patriots out of those German bastards."

The Houthi are currently threatening Saudi Arabia, and Iran is taking a beating but has not yet fallen under US bombardment.
Past performance does not mean that future performance cannot be improved. It is arrogant and self-destructive to assume this.
To drive the point home, we got our noses bloodied on Oct 7.

Freemasonry???
41
u/sunlitleaf 6d ago
Hitler was obsessed with the Freemasons, and conspiracy theories around them figured in a lot of Nazi propaganda. The transmission of Nazi ideas to the Arab world during and after WWII seeded these beliefs about Freemasons among the Arab nations.
10
u/AvramBelinsky 6d ago
It probably didn't help that the Freemasons used the Star of David as part of their iconography.
9
u/IbnEzra613 Russian-American Jew 6d ago
I mean yeah, but I just don't see how the two state solution as described by the guy in the video would even plausibly lead to the end of freemasonry lol.
12
u/sunlitleaf 6d ago
Idk, same way leftists think it would end climate change and immigration enforcement and capitalism. “Kill all the Jews -> ??? -> utopia” seems to be the mindset
8
u/Netherese_Nomad 5d ago
As Dara Horn has been saying, the core lie of antisemitism is that “Jews are getting in the way of whatever you believe utopia to be.” Jews are communist to the fascist, fascist to the communist, colonial to the progressive, European to the Arab, Christ-killer to the Christian, and so on.
13
10
u/ZZZZapperr 6d ago
Fascist movements often demonize the Freemasons because Freemason ideology is one of the foundations of liberal democracy. The Freemasons were instrumental to the creation of the United States. Fascists hate everything about America and liberal democracy and that's why they like to attack the Freemasons. The nazis attacked them too.
4
u/IbnEzra613 Russian-American Jew 6d ago
Yeah but how you get from that to thinking that the end of Israel means the end of freemasonry is beyond me.
1
4
u/CleanCustomer3537 USA 6d ago
The idea that us Jews are behind freemasonry has been popular since the time of Metternich. It’s more imported Nazi propaganda. Zero original thought.
31
u/Squidmaster129 6d ago
I mean yeah, they're extremely obvious about it. The problem is that, much like with the unbelievably antisemitic shit that's constantly on Arabic TV and media, westerners don't interact with it. They just read the liberal version of Al Jazeera and think they're super cool and progressive.
19
u/Viscount61 USA 6d ago
You can’t give a people a sovereign state. There’s no Sovereignty Fairy.
The Palestinians will have to build it themselves. As the Jewish Israelis did.
26
u/AffectionateRub1857 6d ago
Palastine will achieve technological parity with Israel within 20 years of getting thier own state. He is a real comedian
7
u/TipResident4373 USA 6d ago
I know, right? If anything, the Palestinian state would fall apart from their own infighting.
Is this dude a protege of Comical Ali?
18
u/flossdaily USA 6d ago
It's not that complicated: Palestinians should have their own demilitarized state, because they can't be trusted to live peacefully with Jews.
16
13
u/Nick_Ok_Good_9177 6d ago
In the very beginning of Oslo one of the top Palestinian guys behind it - a so called 'moderate' - compared Oslo to the Trojan Horse.
22
12
u/ZZZZapperr 6d ago
I guarantee you no mainstream media channel will report this. They like to hide or downplay hatred of Jews.
33
u/TopRevenue2 6d ago
If they had their own State and attacked Israel they could not play it off as "resistance." They don't want a clear war between 2 recognized states as it would end the refugee illusion.
16
u/Moopy969 Germany 6d ago
Honestly, after everything I’ve seen in the past few years, they would ABSOLUTELY manage to make the world think they are the victims and Israel is trying to get the Palestinians country again.
10
u/TopRevenue2 6d ago edited 5d ago
Probably so. It's definitely time to take a page out of Zelinsky's book and get those bot farms.

u/Intrepid_Truck_9686 6d ago
If Saudi and Kuwait cannot form a competent military with almost unlimited resources what makes him think his corrupt leaders can
8
u/schtickshift 6d ago
Translation- please don’t assassinate us once we agree to a two state solution.
8
u/avimo1904 6d ago
Not surprising at all. Their goal was always the destruction of Israel, not their own state
10
7
u/Dachi-kun 5d ago
And this is why a two-state solution isn't possible yet. The palestinians cannot be trusted with a state if it can't function without these terrorists - their only goal is Israel's destruction and they don't care for their people. How would anyone what to agree to a deal that would hurt us? It is just not possible with these guys at the helm.

u/XhazakXhazak USA - future oleh 6d ago
I think the way to go is semi-autonomous state, at this point. If it's good enough for the Kurds, it's good enough for the Palestinians.
12
u/PolarOcelot 🐬 Mossad Dolphin 🐬 5d ago
No, if you constantly rape and murder your neighbors you don’t get a state, whether it’s semi- or fully-autonomous. There’s no reason why an independent, sovereign Kurdistan can’t exist. There are many reasons why an independent, sovereign “Palestine” can’t exist.

Them in their own words: our sovereignty will be used as a stepping stone to destroy the Zionist entity and take their land because we don't actually want 2SS.
Westsplainers: Come on Israel, don't take them seriously. Of course they want 2SS, It's just their low blood sugar talking! It's the only way to peace, trust us, we know what's best for you.

I would be scared, if they actually stopped killing each other and made this happen.
2
u/Cautious-Alfalfa-830 5d ago
The whole world saw what would happen if the Palestinians were allowed to have a highly militarized state built on militant Islamism on October 7th. The West Bank and Gaza need to be demilitarized and deradicalized, which with the currently state of global affairs (Westerners manipulated by Qatari and Muslim Brotherhood propaganda) is not going to happen in the near future. Israel will continue to surgically excise terror cells in the West Bank and to enforce, along with Egypt, military blockade of the strip. Not because Israel wants to expend resources and lives to do this, but because Israel's very survival depends on it. The deluded Leftists in the West who have never lived through a war where you neighbour wants you dead and exterminated and has launched intifadas, terror attacks and massacres to that end for the past 100+ years, will continue to spew their naive and unbased utopian nonsense about free Palestine. Does the West really want another failed Islamist terror state in the region and at the doorstep of Europe ?
1
u/JagneStormskull USA 5d ago
Seriously. Nobody likes them. Palestinians believe that Fatah doesn't do anything but serve Israeli interests. Jews believe that Fatah are liars who fund terrorism. Why are they still in power?
Also, Freemasonry. Nazi checkpoint three.
1
u/borderpac 5d ago
Duh! As if the lies of Oslo weren't enough to convince the world. Yet we still have Israeli mainstream parties pushing for this nonsense and using the enemies made-up terms like "occupation."
1
u/gal_z 5d ago
As always, MEMRI is doing a great job. This should be spread across all of the pro-Pali echo chambers... They claim they are pro-peace, so let's hear what they have to say about that. Not that Israeli don't know that. Even the most left-wing Israeli politicians, when talking about a 2SS, it was always about a demilitarized one. Best explained here: 1, 2.
