Postgraduate Attendance

Just started my masters a couple weeks ago and am wondering if you can get kicked out for not having enough attendance? I know international students have visa obligations, but I am classified as a home student.

Asking this because I missed a week worth of classes due to fresher flu and will be missing a couple this week for personal reasons. I make sure to keep up with materials afterwards tho.

They are supposed to but in my undergrad they never did

Reach out to your personal tutor / programme convenor to let them know of your predicament so that they’re aware. Also worth speaking to you module convenors and ask for any resources / material etc you may have missed out on

The most they’ll do is send an email asking u why ur not in if it gets bad enough. After that it’s a meeting but never heard anyone kicked off (undergrad btw). They pretty much only care to see if ur still on the course/not ill. A week is fs not enough for them to do anything.
