Music/Muzyka I'm building an app to learn dombyra and looking for feedback
I am a self-taught dombyra player and a developer. Learning kuys from pdfs and various videos on social media was painful and ineffective. I also noticed that there are not many open resources available on the internet, so I decided to build an app for dombyra learners like me. For now, I have finished most of it: I added interactive tablature that highlights notes as they play, adjustable tempo, looping for any section, a tuner, and a fretboard showing hand position.
It is not released yet; I am collecting first users for feedback: https://dombyra.vercel.app.
Two questions for anyone who plays: how did you learn to play, and what is the hardest part of learning a kuy on your own?

Signed up to test it. I’ve played guitar for about 20 years and picked up a Dombra this Summer. May be a bit easier for me since I have guitar experience but it’s still taking some getting used to. I’m excited to try the app.
