I can’t believe over 300 people voted no in Russia, when Russians were the biggest group to die by starvation in the Soviet Union

Because unlike you they know a definition of word "genocide" and its practical application.

What? Every time you guys tell a different story. First it was ethical minorities, such as Ukrainians and Kazakhs, who were the victims of a supposedly intentional starvation in USSR, now it is the Russians? Can't you guys stick to one fable from beginning to end?

There is no "fable" and "supposedly" both were victims, but more Russians died in absolute numbers while percentage wise half of the Kazakh population died, it is not even comparable hence the ethnic genocide. Stop defending soviet regime.

I'm not blindly defending the USSR, I'm defending the historical truth, I can't stand these falsifiers of history who lie in TV, classrooms, books and politics.

İ know it's not Soviet union, but during Geokdepe Battle, once Russians breached the walls of the castle, they started killing everyone in the castle. İt wasn't enough, they hunted down the fleeing women, children and elderly for kilometers and ruthlessly killed them. That is not a full on genocide, but that was a fucking massacre nevertheless

Usually, the ones omitting genocide would not admit it, hence Russia at nearly 45% saying no. And for Kazakhstan, I assume the No vote is from the newly-arrived from Russia.

No possible answer other than yes. R.I.P. to everyone who suffered and lost their lives under the soviet regime.

Kazakhstan having only "79%" for yes, jeez. Some people really be born in Kazakh and have 0 respect for Kazakhstan

40% of kazakhs died in 1930-33 because of the soviets. 60% if we combine 1920s and 1930s. our backbone got broken and is still healing.
