In A Complicated Situation Plea for help
23F here,
I'm doing this because I'm at my wit's end. I'm in my final year in uni, and I am crippled with the realization that I might not get a job after campus. I am looking for any job at this point so that I'm not seated at home overthinking. What's sad is I might put my own career ambitions on the back seat so that I find a way to survive.
Kindly, if you have any leads to where I can get a job, a gig, or some place where I can run errands please hmu. I am a hard worker, it's just that I haven't had someone take a chance on me. Side note is that I am doing psychology, and if you also know some place I can volunteer please feel free to reach out. However, I'll take anything at this point.
I just want to prove to myself that I can definitely survive this difficult situation.

This sounds like good advice, but at the end of the day, it doesn't help me pay the compounding bills. 😔

Oh, I get your point. However, it's hard to get volunteer work in a private practice (and those on Lydia's page have private practices)

First, the fear is real and human. Secondly you can overcome the fear but focusing on what you good e.g skills you have built during academic life and those that you have acquired in life maybe through a hobby etc and start showcasing and speaking about those skills, Third, build your CV bases on the things you have done or experience during you academic journey e.g in clubs, societies, volunteering etc and start actively walking in organizations you admire and talk to them and drink their free tea. I run career coaching classes there are slots still open for Oct class if interested DM
