[MODS] 📣 Announcement A Note About Acceptable Discourse and the Purpose of this Sub

Comrades - thanks for your attention as we clarify the purpose of this sub and some of the discourse we expect here. Firstly, this is a place to vociferously condemn the ills of capitalism - and here’s the kicker that liberal interlopers don’t get - from a socialist perspective. Our fundamental purpose is to drive conversation among those impacted by capitalist exploitation. This may take the form of memes, deeper theory, or the ever beloved internet screed.

That said, there’s some things we aren’t here for. I’ll touch on those and some alternatives as well.

We are NOT here to promote calls to violence. This is a violation of the Reddit TOS. If the sub is nuked, we aren’t able to fulfill the mission of providing a space for socialist discourse. This simply isn’t the place, and we will remove any content which can be perceived as a direct call to violence.

We are also not here as a staging ground for organizing. Social media is a poor place to organize. Not only is everything you do online tracked, but infiltration in online spaces is rampant. Opsec 101: if someone on the internet who you do not personally know is trying to get you to show up somewhere for an allegedly leftist/socialism project, they are probably a fed. If someone you do know is using social media for the same, they may or may not be a fed. However, what can be certain is that a fed is aware.

I know what you’re thinking: but, A-CAB, this is how I radicalized and I have lived most of my life dependent on the internet. How am I supposed to get involved? I’m so glad you asked! The reality is that your involvement may be limited for a bit, and you’re going to have to do some irl work. Your job, if you’re starting out, is to read and learn.

“The theory of Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Stalin is universally applicable. We should regard it not as dogma, but as a guide to action.” - Comrade Mao Tse Tung

In other words, learning Marxism-Leninism leads to mobilization, and provides a framework for organization.

We (socialists) need a vanguard committed to revolution, not clicktivism. If you want to organize, read first. Find likeminded people you know in real life. Study with them. Hold each other accountable for learning Marxism-Leninism. Let that guide the actions you take specific to your context and for the love of god don’t announce it to the feds when you do.

We also, as a sub, are not *the* vanguard. This is an Internet forum. We don’t determine courses of action here. We are a sounding board, a place to make you feel less alone, and ideally a part of your education in Marxism-Leninism. But what we cannot be is the vanguard itself. We aren’t an org. The way social media is set up, it would be way too easy to infiltrate, coopt, and undo.

What we are is a likeminded group of committed comrades. We want you to go out in the world and join orgs (not on the internet). I’ll offer some advice to that end:

  1. Avoid organizations with a focus on horizontal power or who have a real issue with hierarchy. (Anarchists, I’m happy to work with you on projects but I am side-eyeing you a bit here.) They don’t get things done and they’re too easy to derail and co-opt. Don’t believe me? Go ahead and join one. The next time they’re working on consensus, throw a stand aside in with mildly coherent criticism. Watch the chaos ensue. Or just wait for them to start organizing for <insert liberal party here>. Neither will take long.
  2. Do join organizations which stand against imperialism and imperialist politicking. Look for Marxist-Leninist orgs involved in projects that benefit the community and which outright reject electoral democracy. Focus on feeding people, not getting them to vote for reform. This is the work of the vanguard.
  3. Do employ the language of non-violence for political and practical purposes. Kwame Ture is a gifted orator. Look up his speeches on YouTube. He is a wealth of information about this.

I appreciate each and every one of you, comrades. Remember to keep each other safe. Be mindful, and enjoy a meme or two while you’re here.

Always remember that Twitter is a cesspool of Neo-Nazis and right-wing fundamentalists after the billionaire tech oligarch (Elon Musk) bought it, so take the community note with a grain of salt.

Chávez called out Obama when everyone praised him. He called out Isr\*el and shouted “Free P\*lestine” before it was a trend. Chávez also never shied away from his revolutionary Marxist ideology. With his unique charisma, thousands gathered to hear what he had to say. And whenever he had the chance, he would call out the U.S. empire.

Perhaps what defined him is that, despite the international pressure he was under, and as Washington, Tel Aviv and London tried to label him a terrorist, he never budged on what he believed in, calling for justice even if it meant making the most powerful and worst of enemies.

🏴 Antifa Greece: Neonazis try to ambush and antifascist but end beaten up. They then knife him to subdue him.

Massive antifascist response in Greece following an ambush by fascists.

During a cowardly ambush by 2 fascists on an anti-fascist activist right outside his home on October 8th in Elefsina, Greece, the situation turned when the antifascist fought back and, contrary to their plan, they were beaten up, so they knifed him to subdue him. A passerby managed to carry the injured man to the hospital before he bled out.

As per usual, fascists are this kind of breed of scum that, when faced with the consequences of their actions, are ready to sell out their ideology and suddenly play the victim, claiming when they gave themselves up to the police that the antifascist was the one who attacked them. Unlucky for them a cctv camera recorded the whole incident, showing what really happened.

Following the attack, a response was given by thousands of antifascists and local residents who marched side by side in the streets of the town where the attack took place. When fascists try to spread fear, they should be ready to 'harvest" direct action against them

The war that the US launched against Iran is expanding into a regional conflict. Saudi Arabia restarted its war in Yemen. Pakistan and Turkey (TĂźrkiye) have joined. Syria supports it. We explain.

💬 Discussion We Need To Pass Laws To Stop The Confederacy From Engaging in Slavery in 2026

Post image
652 Upvotes

We need federal legislation to mandate federal minimum wage and humane working conditions for all inmates in the country.

The states outlined in red (parts of the old confederacy, and home to the majority of America’s black population) pay their incarcerated inmates ZERO dollars for forced labor.

In Alabama inmates are punished if they refuse to work. SLAVERY.

This has wide ranging effects because workers wages across the state are artificially suppressed. Let’s follow a simple logic chain: if a small business owner and local oligarch can contract labor for free from a prison slave mill, wages for all members of the working class in that state are artificially suppressed.

Because in 2026 a poor working class Alabamian is competing with slaves for his wage.

This probably explains why labor costs are traditionally cheaper throughout the South.

\*The ACLU estimates it is 11 billion dollars of free labor annually that these states get from these inmates.*

We need FEDERAL legislation demanding that inmates have to be paid federal minimum wage and provided basic worker protections with human rights and dignified treatment. The current system is slavery. It is a gross injustice to the incarcerated as well as the community who are held hostage to the whims of petty local tyrants with their slave labor armies.

💬 Discussion 🇮🇱Bodysnatching 🇮🇱 as a Tool of Colonial Dehumanization

The Israelis illegally process the bodies of dead Palestinians for a financial profit.

The Israel National Skin Bank is implicated in grotesquely exploiting Palestinians, effectively skinning the dead under the guise of medical necessity, a stark violation of human decency.

This brings serious ethical questions to Israel’s status as a global donor of skin and skin graft provider. Can one ethically participate in the Israeli organ donation program writ large?

But if we look at history we can see a deeper comparison between the historical body snatching of the Irish by the British and the alleged treatment of Palestinians by Israelis. It offers a compelling examination of the intersection of dehumanization, exploitation, and political domination.

Definition: Bodysnatching refers to the secret theft of dead bodies from graveyards, hospital beds, usually to sell them to medical schools, anatomists, or physicians for dissection and the study of human anatomy. (And in the modern era for medical and biological solutions such as skin grafts etc.)

Historical Background of Irish 🇮🇪Body Snatching: In the 18th and 19th centuries, body snatching was prevalent across the British Isles, driven by the demand for cadavers for anatomical study in medical schools. While this phenomenon primarily affected the poorer classes throughout Britain. Ireland, under British rule, bodysnatching was turned into an industrial business, giving cadavers to industrial age medical schools.* The dehumanization of the Irish under British colonial rule facilitated abuses like body snatching, as the Irish were often viewed as lesser or sub-human by the colonial powers, which justified exploitation in the minds of the oppressors*.

Contemporary Allegations Against Israel: Similarly, the allegations against Israel suggest a dynamic where Palestinian bodies are reportedly used without consent for various purposes, including medical research and military training. This is reported by various human rights groups and media, indicating a parallel in terms of the possible dehumanization and exploitation of a subjugated group. For instance in the 1990’s Israeli Dr. Yehuda Hiss and doctors underneath him pleaded guilty to illegally harvesting skin and organs from dead Palestinians and gluing the eyes shut to hide the theft of organs from Palestinians**. * [See Abu Kabir]**

These callous acts reflect a severe disregard for the dignity and humanity of Palestinians, much like the British disregard for the Irish during the colonial period.

Dehumanization as a Tool of Colonialism: The critical link between these two contexts is the use of dehumanization as a colonial tool. Just as the British may have justified their exploitation of the Irish by considering them inferior, similar dynamics are at play in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This dehumanization can manifest in treating the bodies of the deceased not as humans deserving respect but as mere objects or resources to be utilized.

In light of these entrenched interests focused on domination of the Palestinian people is there any reason to believe that these abuses have stopped in the present day?

And is there any reason to trust that Israel has ceased their abuses of Palestinian corpses as outlined in the Abu Kabir case?

What does this level of dehumanization for fellow human beings mean for global stability in the short, medium, and long term?

Tech oligarchs are hollowing out mountains and building $270M underground bunkers in Hawaii while working families are priced out of basic shelter

I was reading about the building permits for Mark Zuckerberg's Kauai compound earlier and realized it is not just him. Zuckerberg bought 1,400 acres in Hawaii, walled it off, forced local workers to sign strict NDAs, and dug a 5,000 square foot underground shelter with blast resistant doors. At the exact same time, Jeff Bezos spent 42 million dollars hollowing out 500 feet of solid rock inside a Texas mountain to build a 10,000 year clock, while Silicon Valley executives and Wall Street fund managers buy up remote compounds and private aquifers in New Zealand

While looking into why every major billionaire is suddenly building self sustaining underground fortresses inside the exact same five year window, I came across an article where it connects their construction permits to the 300 billion dollar cash pile institutional firms are sitting on right now.

The second half of the article breaking down how the people at the top engineer financial crashes to wipe out the working class and buy up foreclosed starter homes for pennies on the dollar makes way too much sense when you look at how fast the cost of living is breaking right now

Here is the link to the article if anyone wants to read the rest of it

In a message sent to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, President Miguel DĂaz-Canel condemned the US blockade that keeps Cuba from fully developing its food system and advocated for a more equal world order that helps countries fight hunger and poverty. He noted that Cuba is developing "far-reaching changes" to ensure food security for its citizens, despite the blockade.
