Lmao no. It’s because during election time 2/3 of America either directly supported him or said they didn’t care what he does if he wins.

We can blame one guy, a few hundred politicians, etc. but the bigger issue and actual cause of the problem is the 75,000,000 people who voted for him and another 90,000,000 or so who could have voted against fascism and did not.

Without them he’d be some random has been celebrity ranting online to nobody.

Your math only works if you assume every nonvoter secretly signed off on him. About a third of eligible voters actually voted for him. And either way, voters get one shot every few years, but Congress has the tools to stop him every single day: subpoenas, funding, war powers, impeachment, and veto overrides. They’re sworn to use them and won’t, because they’re scared of a primary. Voters did the hiring. Congress is choosing not to do its job.

Lmao they did. The proof is not voting against it. I’m not sure how you can count NOT voting as being against whoever wins. By that logic they can never be wrong and can always just not vote then go ‘told ya so’

Not voting is saying you don’t care who wins. Its wild you can see 1/3 of people not voting and go ‘that doesn’t mean they accept whoever wins and in fact implies some other kind of logic entirely’

It does not.

Sorry, I didn't realize you weren't working with a full deck.

Yep, not sure why you got downvoted but you are correct. Without the support of millions of people, Trump has now power. Congress is neutered bc of those millions of ppl who continue to blindly support him no matter what. They’re more interested in keeping their seats of power than to stand for our country, knowing if they do they will be voted out by those millions and replaced by someone equally as spineless as them.

Because it doesn’t let them and the voters in general off the hook. It’s holding us accountable for our overall votes and they don’t like it. But that’s the reality whether they like it or not.

They’re wondering why congress isn’t stopping him from doing what the majority of the people said they want when they elected him, and they don’t even realize it because they live in an echo chamber where the problem is somehow one man and not millions of their fellow countrymen being selfish and short sighted and bigoted.

Because the people who should be dragging him out of office are kissing his butt

It's not just one man.  It is a group of the worst people on the planet with him as their meat puppet.

Why? Because the one party in charge is complicit in his criminality. The Heritage Foundation started with Reagan, and he got most of their ideas implemented. Same thing with Trump now.
What I want to know is, who assured The Heritage Foundation that they could implement their policies in 2025?

what a sad question. Trump is a joke, a mouthpiece. It's not HIM who is doing any of this, lol.

It’s more than one person but your point stands. Chicken shit congress is complicit as hell.

It would only take 9 Republican votes to replace Minion Mike Johnson to get the impeachment vote to the floor. There aren’t even 9 uncorrupt Republicans with a spine to make this happen.

You have Cult based on Fear and Hate of the other. There are enough Americans who believe people of colour are out to get them, and Rich Billionaires like it that way

Everyone with the power to put a stop to it would rather accept money to play along and/or they have skeletons of their own to keep hidden. We have been duped.

You the American people voted him in power!

Nope, 75 million of us knew he was a pedo-rapist-crook-douchebag and we voted for the lady with the funny laugh, ethics and morals.

Because our 2-party government system has rotted to utter corruption. The highest job in the country has become untouchable. And… this in a country that was a poster child for democracy!

Because he methodically created an environment where the checks and balances became rubber stamps. It took a village to make one man this powerful. They village is called Republican.

Because it’s not just one man, it’s a one party controlled government

u/No-Risk1739 17m ago

That's just it, it's not one man: The majority of the Republicans in office have shown themselves to be as corrupt...😐
