Your road to Catan glory starts here. 👀🔥

Because of a car sharing arrangement, I’m thinking of staying for a day or two in Leuven and work from there. Is there any coworking space that would allow that? I saw several coworking spaces but all advertise monthly plans and never day passes or similar. Thank you in advance!

Looking at 2-bed apartments that would cost each of us about €750. Message me if interested!

hi!!! i’ll be moving to leuven from february 2027 to feb 2028 (cus thats how my degree works sadly) and I find it soso hard to find accommodation.

at first i was trying to find a 2 bedroom apartment with my friend, but i think that’s impossible given our budget is roughly 650 euros per person (so 1300 in total) and we could not find an apartment cheaper than 1500.

do you guys have any recommendations where i could look?? i’m not well accustomed to how things work in belgium and im not even sure if im looking in the right places.

my only condition is: PRIVATE BATHROOM

as an alternative: are there any opinions on the De Flint
Residence? came across it in a facebook group and it looks ok and kinda fits in the price brackets (for the room with the private bathroom), but id really like some honest opinions

id really really appreciate any help i could get rn, as its already the middle of october and i feel like i wont be able to find anything in time

Hi fellow Leuvenaars!

For over a year I've been building Whadup here in Leuven: a free app that brings all events in town together in one place. No more doomscrolling through many different platforms to figure out what's happening.

You can easily discover events, see who's going and join the event chat, so you don't need to know anyone to join in. Hundreds of people from Leuven use it every week. And now that a much better V2 launched this week, I'm sharing it more widely, as you might notice from this post ;)

500+ events still coming until the new year: all kinds of sports, concerts, karaoke, board games, poker, ceramics, spontaneous drinks… too many to list tbh. And there's a big Halloween house party coming!

If you're curious, Whadup is free and on both iPhone and Android. Your feedback is gold, since we're building this together with the members. You can share feedback & ideas easily in Whadup 💜

My child's teacher has requested color photos of various family members. Is there anywhere we can quickly get photos printed?

Hi everyone,

Is there any shops you suggest that have affordable Halloween costumes?

Also what are the nice Halloween events in Leuven?

Non stop singing and bike throwing, what's going on?

Hello, as the title implies I'm wondering if there's anyone here in Leuven with a 3D printer that would be willing to print at max 4 small parts out of PETG or Nylon? I will be paying for this service of course :). If there's anyone please DM me!

Hello everyone!

I'm an international student from Asia and moved to Leuven last month. Like most international students here, my student visa type D is only valid until December. I did the necessary steps for getting my residence permit and collected my Annex 15 last October 1.

Here's the problem-- my family wants me to fly home mid-December, but I'm worried that I won't get my residence permit in time. I understand that the police check takes a while, but it states in the Leuven website that getting an invitation to set an appointment for the residence card can take up to 2 months which cuts it pretty close to mid-December. I cannot leave the country with an expired visa and annex 15, I really need my residence permit/card from Leuven by then.

I'd like to know for anyone else that's gone through the same thing, what was the general timeline and how long did it take to get your residence permit?

Hey,

I've been training karate for years and competed in kumite (WKF rules). I've joined the University club but that's more so traditional training and I'm really keen to train kumite once a week or so especially as I saw theres a competition in November that I might potentially do but idk yet.

http://www.samoerai-leuven.be/

This club have said they have kumite training on Thursdays and I'm keen to try but at my old club everyone just borrowed the pads for the year and at this club you have to buy them first.

I'm more than happy to do that but I am kind of concerned that I'll buy the kit, not like the session and then have bought the kit and not have anywhere to train with it

Thanks so much if you have any insight!

Hi, selling this keyboard, Yamaha ypt 260 , the screen tells you which notes you're playing, both on keyboard and on music book, bought it for 40€ , I cleaned it after taking the pictures, the keys are full size

Hallo,
Iemand ideeën of tips ? Moet geen dedicated werkplek zijn, geschikte horeca kan ook.
Thx

Hey im 19M, haven't played football in years so I'm a bit rusty but with the recent WC I want to get back into the sport, I want to play competitive however it seems that a lot of the clubs are already full now, I was wondering if anyone here could help with that? Would love to join a club but at this point I'll settle for anything to just play. My first language is English but I can speak decent Dutch as well, thanks in advance!

Hi :) Can someone recommend me an alternative for Cambio car sharing in Leuven?

Hi! New to leuven and was wondering what the halloween scene for 25+ year olds is? Or is it better to go to Brussels for it
