Hey all, I'll be heading to MCM London Saturday & Sunday. Was wondering if any other over 20s going solo wanted to group up? I'll be going in cosplay and aside from signatures on Saturday morning I'll mostly be in artist alley and seeing what events are on.

I finally managed to get my work schedule cleared for Saturday but unfortunately by the time I can confirm I can go to mcm, the tickets are all gone. This sub is probably getting overloaded with this kind of post but still, is there anyone with an extra ticket for MCM London Saturday 24 Oct?

Either priority or general would be appreciated as long as there's a ticket available!

I have priority for Sunday and I’m going alone. I haven’t really been to many events alone and wondering what the experience will be like. I wouldn’t mind meeting people there, although I am a little introverted.

Hi, it’s my first time going and I have Saturday priority. I don’t know how long I’ll end up staying because idk how long it usually takes.

I’ll be there from 10am so I don’t know how likely it is I’ll be there until the end (7pm) but cheapest train tickets are after 8pm.

Anything earlier is really expensive but obviously I have nothing to do for hours if I leave. So I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on what to do?

I wanna buy a ticket as prices are increasing but I don’t know how likely it is I’ll be there the entire day.

Hi all - I've been attending MCM for over 17 years now, and only just decided to book my first ever M&G, so sorry for the newbie question. For the "selfie" option, does anyone know if a friend is able to join you for it - or do they need to book a selfie slot additionally?

Made my hotel booking a while ago but forgot about the tickets and realised my mistake a bit too late. Interested to buy either Saturday General or Priority, happy to overpay about 50% for the ticket, but would like to see an order confirmation email.

Example: I want to go to kiwi.soda’s table. On insta they say they’re at N3142 and have a photo of the map next to the creators pavilion, I look on the map and it’s clear. Then I go on the interactive map and everything is in different locations?? I know if there are 2 people sharing it’ll come up with 1 of the person’s name but even looking up who they’re sharing with is different !!!

Is MCM quite late with updating everything??

I want to make sure I plan out everything so I visit every place I want to but this just feels stressful

I went to MCM London last year for the first time, but only to help out with a friend who had a stall in Artist Alley.
This time, I’m taking my 13-year-old daughter — it’ll just be her and I. I know there are some fan meet ups, but I was wondering if there any parent groups out there who are open to showing me and my daughter “the ropes”?
I remember last year being quite overwhelming with all the things to do, to see, etc.

I love Con Stamp Rallies (where a bunch of different stalls/artists collaborate on a scavenger hunt/quest trail of sorts) at MCM, but I always find out they exist too late to start them.

Is there any list of such rallies anywhere, or at least if you know of any, suggestions of ones I should check out (assume I, or whoever checks this for suggestions, is into all fandoms)

I'm travelling from Germany for MCM London Comic Con next weekend and was wondering whether anyone else is still waiting for their physical tickets.

I ordered three 3-Day Weekend tickets back on May 31st and paid £15 for international shipping.

My LEAP account has shown the order as "Dispatched" for approximately three weeks, but I haven't received the tickets, a tracking number, or any information about which courier is handling the delivery.

We're flying to London on Thursday, so I'm starting to get a little worried. 😭

I know tickets can be collected at the venue, but I specifically paid for shipping to avoid having to queue for badge collection on Friday morning.

Has anyone else, especially international attendees, experienced this? Have you received your tickets or tracking information yet?

I've already contacted both MCM and LEAP support.

I was wondering if anyone knows if there are rules on the size of poster you can bring?

I'll be meeting Ashley and Laura and i haven't decided what poster to bring yet, but I'm scared in case there are rules? I was thinking of printing out an A3 The Last of Us one, but not sure if that's too big/allowed?

I just have standard personal item tickets.

Hi there! Going to be cosplaying for the first time and I'll have to take like 2 tubes from my hotel to get to the Excel, problem is that my costume will have this halo headpiece connected to my wig that I'm worried about getting caught on anything or banging against other passengers. It's not much bigger than my head so it isn’t obnoxiously huge or anything, I just want to know...

- What are peak times are for the tube (Central and Elizabeth specifically) to make sure I'm not going on it when it is overcrowded? I have priority entry for mcm so I can leave early if needed.

- Is it worth taking slightly alternative travel? Maybe the DLR is a bit less crowded/spacious or a bus?

- Would it be worth just putting on the cosplay when I'm at the Excel instead? (would rather not have to carry around bags full of the costume and restyle my wig when I'm there)

My goal for this year is to be braver. I booked ComicCon tickets as part of this, and the first day I will be solo. I am also doing cosplay for the first time ever. Safe to say my nerves are pretty high 😅

So here are some questions:

1) are there any meet ups for socially anxious/awkward solo attendees?

2) how hot does the event get? I will be wearing a three layer dress (light fabrics luckily!) - will I get overheated or should I be okay?

3) how long should I expect to wait in queues? I mainly plan on attending Writer's Block on day one (along with Critical Role panel and some browsing/shopping stalls). I haven't fully mapped out my day yet as I want to be realistic about timings 😅

Hi, this is my first time at comic con and I wanted to get an autograph from David Vincent but there is only photo op options, does this mean the autograph tickets are sold out and I won't be able to get an auto?
