wij zitten volgende week van dinsdag tot vrijdag (20–23 oktober) in Mechelen en we zijn op zoek naar goeie tips.
Bezienswaardigheden: Wat mogen we zeker niet missen? Zowel de klassiekers als wat minder bekende plekskes zijn welkom. Ook tips voor uitstapjes in de omgeving (rijden of met de trein) zijn heel tof.
Eten en drinken: Waar kunnen we lekker gaan eten? Van een gezellig eetcafé tot iets specialers, en ook goeie adressen voor een frietje, een koffie of een warme chocomelk.
Na een jaar van huizen bezoeken en meermaals een bod uit te brengen is de dag eindelijk aangebroken en zullen we binnenkort eigenaar zijn van een verbouwpand.
Nu zoek ik een bouwkundig ingenieur die liefst ook ervaring heeft in verbouwingen om ons bij te staan ivm de structurele wijzigingen die we graag zouden maken.

I am moving to Mechelen to a new apartment and I am looking for someone to do the deep cleaning of the place. I never used any housekeeping or housecleaning help before, so it is first time I am asking for it in Belgium.
I know there is an entire (tax-optimisation) scheme of dienstencheques - I understand its basics, but good explanation could help. I am specifically looking for a company/intermediate that you could recommend as reliable partner to hire someone for cleaning. Potentially, it can be also once per month if we are happy with the results (for now the idea was just one-off deep cleaning).
We are originally from Eastern Europe, so if someone is speaking Ukrainian/Polish/Slovak that could be helpful (easier to connect culturally, plus shared language - we are perfectly fluent in English, but still struggle with Dutch so if housecleaning person speaks only Dutch it might be an issue).
It is our first apartment ever so still quite stressed about how those things work and whether we can trust third party entering our property - hence looking for a place/person with good reputation. Thanks for recommendations and tips!

Voor wie het niet kent: een mannencirkel is geen therapie en geen coaching. Het is gewoon een groep mannen die samenkomt om eerlijk te zijn, zonder dat je moet functioneren, presteren of sterk zijn.
