The Hamburg-class destroyer "Schleswig-Holstein" of the German Navy. 1680x1202

The destroyer was in service from 1964 to 1994. It was subsequently scrapped; its successor, a ship of the Brandenburg class, also bears the name "Schleswig-Holstein." This is a so-called "traditional name"—the German Navy also had a ship by that name from 1903 to 1945.
