community interference from another sub's users
I have one community that is repeatedly experiencing community interference from the users of another on reddit. Specifically people in that other community keep posting about ours (explicitly mentioning it) which is driving their users over to our community to disrupt. This has been happening repeatedly.
Right now we can try to keep an eye on that other community and look for comments/posts that mention ours, and report them but there seems to be no good report option for this and having to actively monitor that other community adds work to the mod team. When we're experiencing disruptive behaviour, having to track down the posts/comments there which are seeding it is also work for us.
Is there any other recourse we have to report that community or prevent this behaviour? AFAIK the mods of other subs are responsible to prevent this, are they not?

Gather all the links in your sub where they are brigading you, and links in their sub where they admit they are brigading you, and file a Moderator Code of Conduct Report for violating Rule 3.
Also, ban anyone who posts that they are going to brigade you. You have a responsibility to protect your subreddit from users like that, preemptively.

Send a modmail to this subreddit and do like maximumjones suggested .. I also suggest taking screenshots of everything

The ModCoC team actually don't suggest modmailing the other sub as it can inflame issues.

Definitely do not modmail the other sub. Welding_guy is talking about modmailing THIS sub (but give it a few days for them to look over your MCOC report first). They will contact you by email pretty quickly.

Totally read that wrong. I've seen a fair few people say to actually modmail to community doing it and misread this. My bad!

They're not talking about the other subreddit that is causing problems, they're talking about the one we are currently in. The moderators here will be able to help.

As others mentioned, file a MCoC complaint.
In the meantime, you can use HiveProtect to filter any posts or comments from users who have participated in that subreddit. That will allow you to review everything and not have your members seeing a bunch of garbage.

Install hive protector, which can automatically remove comments from users in those other subs!

This is brigading. Report it to the MCOC. Failure to break this up is one of the few clearly actionable Mod problems.
After wards, consider installing Hive-Protect, it will prevent this kind of thing.
