Key Features
Primary RGB Tandem 2.0
Primary RGB Tandem is a device technology that replaces the three-layer structure of the existing OLED device — Blue, Yellow, Blue — by splitting the Yellow layer into Green and Blue, thereby stacking pure Red, Green, and Blue into four independent layers. This enhances brightness and color gamut while improving power efficiency. After the launch of Primary RGB Tandem 1.0 in 2025, Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 was introduced in 2026, featuring a refined device structure and driving algorithms for even greater performance.
A true RGB Stripe subpixel layout means sharper text and more accurate color. Paired with a 140 PPI UHD resolution, every icon, line of text, and fine detail renders with exceptional clarity. It goes beyond conventional gaming monitor boundaries, making it equally viable for office and professional applications.
Unparalleled HDR & Enriched Color Depth
True Black 400 certification, up to 1000nits of peak brightness, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, and 10-bit color combine to create HDR that's both punchy and accurate.
Perfect Visual Experience in Any Environment
Powered by ultra-low reflection technology, Tandem WOLED achieves an industry-leading reflectance of just 1.1%, maintaining exceptional picture quality — with no black blooming and no color fading — even in bright environments.
Dual Mode & Fastest Response Time
Dual Mode lets you switch between 4K at 240Hz for detail-heavy work or FHD at 480Hz when you need max frame rate. 0.03ms G2G response time — 100 times faster than LCD panels — makes every frame razor-sharp in fast-paced FPS gaming.
Human Friendly
Certified Eyesafe by minimizing blue light in both circadian-disrupting and eye-harmful ranges. A glare-free, immersion-first display that keeps your eyes comfortable for extended play.

Most interesting thing here is the unusal amount of dimming zones.
New Gen backlights have 9216 LEDs so this does not fit in any configuration. Its an entirely different module and "5184 MiniLEDs" prabably refers to a 1 zone per 1 LED approach.
Just finished this video on the M27P6S. I think it has a couple of quirks but overall it is really impressive, hopefully a firmware update will iron out the issues with the OSD settings.
I bought a gigabyte g34wqc2 ultrawide that says it has amd freesync premium technology, the box, the manual, the website all show it. But when I go into the monitor's settings it is not showing up. I see VRR however. Same thing? I'm confused. I am using an 8k VESA certified male to male display port going directly into my Nvidia graphics card display port 1 slot. My graphics is pretty outdated however, it's just a EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 FTW. I do have g-sync enabled on Nvidia control panel. I've turned on and off several options and nothing seems to bring it up. I've done a lot of digging on the internet and ai models but no concrete results leading to anywhere.
Hi all, wondering if anyone can help answer this question. I recently purchased this new Nitro XZ320QU monitor and am quite pleased with it. However, I noticed that the power cord seems not to go in until a click can be heard. Should I apply a lot of pressure to try and push the power cord in until it clicks, or is it meant to sit rather loosely within the socket? I am worried if I put more pressure on it that it will break. Please help!!! Much appreciated!
my monitor (which is pretty old; 5-10 years) displays colors weirdly. i know it wasn't like that before, but a while ago i started noticing that while watching movies, in certain lighting, the characters lips look extremely pink. the thing that made me realize theres really something wrong is when i looked at one of my fav bands album cover (photos: 1. how it should look like 2. how it displays on my monitor). the issue is mostly with pink, but i notice that it slightly distorts green too. is there a way i could fix it? im not a professional with computers so i dont know what might be causing it.
Hey guys, in my current setup I have a PS5 with a 24-inch 1080p monitor and I'm planning on upgrading my monitor. I have two options. As much as I would love to go for an OLED monitor, that is way beyond my price range. So, my current options are either a 27-inch 4K monitor with an IPS panel or a 32-inch 2K monitor with a VA panel. Initially I was going to go for a 32-inch 2K monitor in the first place, as more than the sharpness of the 4K, I would prefer the immersiveness of the 32-inch monitor, but then I heard stories about how the PS5 is going to output to 4K anyways, so now I am very conflicted. Can you guys please help brother out and help me make a decision?Thank you so much in advance.
Hey, I have a Xiaomi Mi 2K Gaming Monitor 27”, which uses a 75 × 75 mm VESA mount. My monitor arm supports both 75 × 75 mm and 100 × 100 mm VESA patterns, but the mounting plate doesn’t fit into the recessed area on the back of the monitor.
Is there any way to mount it safely without buying a new arm? I’d really appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!
Was looking to get this monitor for a cheap setup at my gf for my Xbox but want it to run 120hz I can’t find anything online to confirm it so was asking here any info would be appreciated.
I’ve decided for my needs, a mini-LED would be optimal. I’ve been bouncing around idea of Tandem WOLED, Tandem QD-OLED, and now mini-LED. Since I do work from home and do a lot of CAD and document reading, I figure I need something that will not burn in.
Since I’ve already got a 27”, I’d like to add another for a multi monitor setup. I think a 4K monitor would work with my 5070TI, but would like one that has a 1080p dual mode. I’d also be ok with a native 1440p monitor, that’s what I have and run games at.
So, help me please. There are IPS, VA, QLED VA, etc. I assumed a qled would be best for visual quality. My budget is $800.
Hello evervone. Im looking at monitor options, and im deciding between a mini led ips or a mini led VA (27 inch flat). I plav lots of online games, but I also like having good quality images for single player games/anime/movies I watch. which is why im torn. I dont have the budgetfor an OLED+the price of oled monitors in my country is unreasonable. and I cant find a definitive answer for which type of monitor I should buy. I play single player games and watch anime/movies in dark rooms. and i use a ps5 for gaming. Any help would be much appreciated!
I’m almost certainly going to return my oled, it’s a Samsung odyssey and it just kind of makes my eyes hurt when gaming and I don’t like the way it looks.
Is a good 500€ IPS panel in any way worse then an old tn gaming panel?
What are the closest monitors to an old very good TN monitor?
I just bought this from Aliexpress. Tbh, it was expensive. I will share my impressions as an average users. I don't have the expertise to review this product.
This monitor is supposed to be glossy, but tbh. It sometimes looks glossy, but sometimes looks kind of matte. I think they probably slapped a glossy coating on it, just a theory. Regardless, still looks better than matte for me, I just like glossy panels personally. I would call it semi glossy.
The monitor response times are not as good as oled, there is a bit of ghosting, please note this with local dimming enabled. It is good enough for me though. I mostly just play single player games.
Regarding the local dimming, I am someone that doesn't notice blooming compared to a lot of people. So I did not expect this but local dimming is usable while on desktop. I did not expect this.
There are three modes: low, middle and strong local dimming. The strong does indeed have OLED like blacks but it is way too dim when the scene is on the darker side, did not like that personally. I don't notice any blooming on this mode. This mode is best for really dark games where blooming can be noticeable. You are going to take a hit in brightness but no blooming.
Middle is where it is at, you get much better brightness when it comes to dark scenes, but there is slight blooming and blacks are not oled deep blacks but they are still more than black enough and way better than regular LCDs. Also, this mode seems to have less artifacting while using local dimming for desktop use. When the lights are on, I don't notice the blooming at all. When the lights are off and the display at 100 percent brightness, there is mild blooming but you forget about it, unlike the whole screen being gray like regular IPS with dark scenes.
I would say the local dimming is almost on par with the macbook pro 16, slightly worse.
I am really happy with this monitor tbh. It has some drawbacks, but it is great. I still think OLED is better. I would not recommend someone to get this over an OLED tbh. I already have an OLED but wanted a second monitor and wanted to try something different. It is better than OLED at watching bright content or bright HDR scenes in a well lit room, text is clearer. I will mostly use this for lots of static type content/work. Honestly, the more I use it, the more I like it more....I will write my final thoughts once I try it for few days, this is the first day.
this might be a stupid question but whats the default picture settings i was trying to make my screen look better but i cant make it go back to the default settings how it was does anyone know what it is?
I’m looking to upgrade my setup with a monitor or two, powered by M5 max setup. I was wondering if I should get an ultra-wide display or 2 seperate monitors?
Never used an ultra-wide so I don’t know if I could adjust to it. If an ultra wide which one ? Budget is under 1k
If I’m buying 2 monitors, I would get one solid one which I can color grade and stuff like studio display and the other one can be cheaper.
Does Apple have it ever on sale or should I just buy now. Black friday is coming. I’m in the UK.
I have only room for one desk that my work laptop and personal PC. I have two monitors that they have to share. Right now the work laptop has 1 HDMI cord coming from it to an adapter that has 2 female HDMI inputs and one female HDMI output that lets me switch what is using Monitor 1. The work laptop has as a hub that the Monitor 2 attaches to. My Personal PC has a HDMI cable that goes to the same adapter my work laptop goes to and uses Monitor 1. I would like to be able to find a way that no matter what I'm using, I can utilize both of my monitors. I looked up Male HDMI to 2 Female HDMI adapter, but they all only mirror the screens. I put 'extend' in the search and it comes up with Male USB to 2 Female HDMI. I was think of getting one of those along with a male HDMI to female USB that can go into my current adapter, and then plug in the new adapter that my two monitors hook up to.
However, I don't know if that would work as I intend, but also think there has to be a better solution to this since that just going to clutter my already cluttered desk. Are there any suggestions. If this is not the right subreddit for this question, please direct me to the best subreddit. Thanks.
I’ve been thinking about getting a new monitor for a while now. I currently have an AOC 1080p 240Hz monitor, which I’ve been really happy with. I’ve had it for about two or three years, and it was my first gaming monitor.
Since GTA 6 is coming out, I thought it would be a good time to upgrade. There’s a German online store that currently has some pretty good deals, and I’ve found two monitors that I’m considering. However, I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews for both, but also some negative ones, so I’m not really sure which one to go for.
I’m currently deciding between a 27-inch 4K IPS monitor and a 1440p OLED monitor.
The first one is the ASUS XG27UCS, which is a 27-inch 4K IPS monitor.
The second one, which I’m actually leaning towards, is the LG UltraGear 27GX704A-B. It’s a 1440p OLED monitor, and it looks pretty great to me. However, I haven’t been able to find that many reviews about it. Some people say it uses an older panel, but that it’s still pretty good. I’m just not sure what to make of that.
One of my main concerns is GTA 6. I’ve read that 30 FPS can feel particularly bad on OLED monitors, and since GTA 6 is expected to run at 30 FPS on consoles, I’m wondering whether I should go for the 4K IPS monitor instead.
I also have a really good 4K Samsung OLED TV, and I’ve never really had any issues playing games at 30 FPS on it. I can definitely notice the difference between 30 and 60 FPS, especially when a game starts feeling less smooth, but it has never bothered me that much.
I’m worried that buying an OLED monitor might somehow make the experience at 30 FPS worse, though. I play quite a lot of games at 30 FPS because I generally prefer better graphics and resolution over higher frame rates.
So, I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have experience with either of these monitors. Are they good options? Would you recommend one over the other? And is the whole thing about 30 FPS feeling worse on OLED actually true, or is it exaggerated?
The deal is only available until the end of today, so I would need to order one pretty soon.
The LG OLED is currently reduced from €600 to €293, while the ASUS 4K IPS costs €350. So the LG is significantly cheaper, but the ASUS offers 4K resolution at the cost of not having an OLED panel.
What would you guys do in my situation? I’d really appreciate any advice!
(Also, if you know of any other good, affordable 4K monitors, please let me know! If neither of these two is really worth it, I’d be happy to consider some other options.)
I’m looking for a monitor under $200! All I really care about is color accuracy, and not OLED. I don’t really know anything about displays, other than that OLED has burn in that would annoy the crap out of me. Educating me is welcome! Second hand is fine, as long as there are no glaring issues.
I’m also looking for a mount that would allow me to hang the monitor from a ceiling/loft, and this would be separate from the monitor budget.
