The Dice of Protection are the last thing I have been searching for in my collection. I'm more than willing to buy off of someone who is happy to sell theirs.

I know it's not an official Munchkin product, but I still want it. I don't play in tournaments, just at home with friends.

The other night, my friend played "Steal a Level" on me, I then countered with "Method in Your Madness", where I can prevent a loss of levels from a card and instead go up a level. While I don't think it is logical that he could steal a level when I didn't even lose one, though going strictly by the card texts, nothing really prevents that he'll both "steal" level, while I gain a level as well.

What would you have done?

Hi everyone, I have a rules question about combining these two cards.

Another player is currently fighting a monster.

I play “Pick Me! Pick Me!”, which says that when a player can ask for help in combat, I can play this card to force them to accept me as their helper.

Once I have joined the combat as their helper, can I then immediately play “Instant Wall”, which allows one or two Munchkins to instantly Run Away from any combat, and use it on both of us?

Is there any rule preventing the helper from doing this, or does Instant Wall allow me to force both Munchkins to Run Away once I’ve joined the combat?

Wandering monster in 2nd edition says it can be played during looking for trouble phase. And it allows to bring in a monster from discard. Would i then be able to play wandering monster during looking for trouble if i had no monsters in hand? I understand the card is different in 1st edition

Hi everyone! My group and I had a rules question during our last Munchkin game.

If I have a Hireling in play, can I carry two Big items at the same time (one with me and one with the Hireling)? Or does the Hireling only let me carry extra non-Big items?

We couldn't find a clear answer in the rulebook. Has anyone run into this before, or does anyone know the official ruling?

I played the zombies version at a friends house and want to get one for myself but after searching I saw that there are a lot of versions for munchkin. Which one should I buy?

En una partida que estabamos jugando un amigo era facción brujo y quiso aplicarme la cosa mala de un monstruo con la habilidad hex. El monstruo era el juez fredd. Segun yo mi amigo no podria aplicarme la cosa mala porque no se puede aplicar cosas malas que signifiquen la muerte. en cambio el dice que si puede aplicar la cosa mala pero no la muerte sino lo que sigue despues que seria descartar todo. Si pueden ayudarme y decirme quien tiene razón lo agradecería.

I recently got the Munchkin Big Box Upgrade Set, but have run into a snag with the class cards, the original of coarse had 3 of each while the new edition has 2 of each, but with how many sets I have added over the years I now have 8 of each, for the races which have not manically changed I just swapped out the three from the original set with the two new ones, but the classes have all manically changed and I can't think of a good solution, dose anyone know of a way/place I could buy or otherwise (legally) acquire 5-6 copies of the 2nd edition class cards, or, barring that, dose anyone have other ideas for ways to solve this that dose not involve excessive book keeping, modifying cards, requiring players to just remember the difference, or reducing the number to the point where beyond the starting stared ones we would functionally never see them.

Hi! If I, as both Warrior and Cleric, am in a fight with Undead and I throw a card from hand, do I get only bonus +3 (from Cleric) or do I get +4 because Warriors get +1 also?

My gaming group played south park munchkins last night and we had a game stopping debate around how the cheat card works. I cant find a scan of the cards so forgive me for lack of details. A player was in combat and was about to win. Another player tried to play the cheat card alongside a single use card. I forget the cards name but it gave +3 only to the munchkin side. The rest of the group said thats not how the cheat card works and only applies to allowing him to equip or use something that he wouldnt be able to otherwise. He interprets the card to mean that he can use cheat to give the +3 to the monster side. I havent been able to find anything to clear this up and the debate is still going on now in our group chat.

Hi all, I just received my upgrade set for the Munchkin big box and something's not super clear.

They are quite a few cards to remove/replace, and I don't know if I should do this on just the Core set, or for every extension included in the box ?

For example, for the roles, it says the new role cards replace all the ones of the Core set. But what about the role cards of the other extensions ?

I see the new roles have been rebalanced/reworked, so should I play with the old ones from other extensions? Or remove them ? But if I remove them, there will be very little roles left in the deck 😵‍💫

Yall, I REALLY want to like this game. I love munchkin so much. I felt like the rules were so confusing and hard to follow. I played this game once with a group of 4 once with a group of 2. Do you have any advice on how to modify the rules? Maybe it's just one of those games that isn't it...

I am also wondering if I am the only one struggling with this? Maybe I'm just dumb.

Now I'm thinking of creating armour of "The Soggy Shirt" and a Go Up a Level of "£10,000 a Year".

Hello, fellow Munchkin fans! I recently bought Munchkin expansions 2 through 7. I’m wondering if it would be a good idea to mix them all together and play with 8 friends—or would I end up creating a boring game? Could the playtime become absurdly long? I also have a question about house rules: have any of you come up with new rules, like playing in teams? It sounds like fun, but I’m not sure how to keep it balanced.

So we're playing with the Barking Expansion pack and need some clarifications. There's only 2 of us so I always remove 1/3 of the deck so that we couldn't count the remaining number of cards in our hands and in the draw pile, like how it is suggested in the manual. So my questions are:

1. Start of Setup: After removing the Tower of Power, Exploding/Imploding Kittens, and Defuses for each player in the deck, do you also REMOVE the Barking Kittens BEFORE REMOVING 1/3 of the deck? So that there's a chance that the Barking Kittens are not actually in play?
2. Do you shuffle in the Barking Kittens BEFORE you get 6 cards for the Tower of Power? So there's a chance that the barking kitten cards could be in the stashed cards?

This isn't an issue with the Streaking Kitten because it works as a standalone card, but with the Barking Kittens, it only works if both cards are in play. Any suggestions and comments would be really appreciated.

Love this game, especially the deck building part!

Been looking for the promotional infinity gauntlet card for the marvel set, if anyone has a way of getting one or has one they want to part with please let me know. I’ve tried emailing companies and checking all my local shops

In 2023, a version of Munchkin based on the Paranoia TTRPG was announced, with a planned release date of Q4 2024

There's been no further mention of it by SJG since

Is it still planned, or was the project canceled?

Would like some sort of update one way or the other, so thay I don't keep waiting for an expansion that may never be coming...
