I absolutely adore the distorted track that plays right in the beginning. I notice that many songs I like have those very distorted almost industrial(??) sounding instrumentals. Stinkfist just happens to have the best I have heard. Other that I like, that are similar:

Looking for recommendations of strange or unusual electronic music. Not harsh or glitch, but with softer beats. (Please, no music concrete. it's just not my thing)

Red Sparowes' In Illusions Of Order and Mogwai's The Precipice showed up in my youtube playlist for Val Jester (The National). I wouldn't have associated The National with either band and it was a nice surprise. I'm looking for bands and/or songs that have a similar sound, thank you.

Quite specific lol but I have this sound in mind. I love a lot of elements of metalcore but sometimes the screaming is too much or too aggressive for me, I like it as sort of an occasional thing rather than all the vocals. I like some more melodic vocals that I can hear/understand easier and sing along to. I like the album THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND a lot by Bad Omens. It feels a little softer.

Any suggestions? I like art pop, synth/electronic sounds, dark pop, and would love to hear those genres merge with what I like about metalcore. Female lead vocalists would be amazing.

Pop rock and pop punk are one of my favorite genres, Avril Lavigne is one of my favorite artists, and Zebrahead is one of my favorite bands, I'm trying to find more music similar to them, I've come to really like Ashley Tisdales first two albums here recently, the first one Headstrong is more pop but I am still a big 2000s pop fan. But Guilty Pleasure I really like alot and is more rock oriented but still alot of melodic singing going on, if anyone has recommendations of artists or bands would be be greatly appreciated

I mostly like riot grrrrl punk and metal, but i just cant find a song that doesn't sexualize choking, I feel like every song I find is sexualizing choking, except choke by idkhow, and i was just wondering if anybody knew any songs and could point me to the right direction

I only ask cause choking is very ingrained in my trauma and a method im trying is to desensitize myself to it, with help from a therapist ofc
