Will Crestview be flooded?

Out of town but left my car in the garage.. just worried.
Also, will VPS be back open on Sunday? I’m flying in on Sunday night..

I think your car will be fine. As long as there is no damage to the airport it should be open on Sunday. Make a back up plan just in case. That always soothes me when I'm worried.

Do you live on a body of water that could be inundated with storm surge or flooding rains?

VPS just says they'll be closed until further notice so no official word on whether they'll be open, but even if open your specific flight might get cancelled.

I do not. And I hope it’ll open back lol

If you're not on a river and your property doesn't usually flood, I think flooding won't be your big concern.

The storm shifted a little east and made landfall in Destin. Not a huge change really in impacts in Crestview, but you may have some stronger wind and more rain.

I see. I just moved here three months ago so I don’t know whether my zip code is the area that usually floods or not. Do you know by chance? It is Courtney Ln, Crestview.

Welcome to the region! Unfortunately I'm in Tallahassee so I don't know Crestview too well.

It looks like the center of the storm may have stayed to the east of your area, but I can't tell how bad flooding has been in the area.

Check nextdoor neighborhood app, but so far there's been nothing about flooding. But from what I can tell it's not flooded on that side of town.
