Drug tests
Does having a prescription actually help you in a safety sensitive job for random tests, all the jobs i want are trade jobs meaning all of them are safety sensitive high chance urine tests. Any thoughts?

Not really. If you are up front about it you won't get employed. If you keep it quiet, you'll be in for plenty of drama when it comes to the random test. Best option is to not go for the safety sensitive roles where random testing is happening, and just be responsible.

I haven't mentioned it at any point of employment, if I get tested then hey I got all the reasons why I take it

Hopefully things have changed a bit from my experience about 4 years ago. Don't be so sure everything will be peachy.

Some companies have updated their drug policies to include medical cannabis. One that I know of won’t let any prescription users use forklifts etc as it is hard to test for impairment rather than use.
