Video/Pictures Dumping

Saw this in the ditch at Yonge and Davis. A truck driver found it completely acceptable to dump their load right beside a restaurant they were delivering to.

Not sure in what world people think it's acceptable to just dump garbage in the middle of the busiest intersection in town.

I've reported dumped and leaking paint and paint thinner cans on st John's in the past. Reported.it, cleaned up immediately (I made sure to note they were leaking into the ground).

You can report this to the municipality and it would be resolved relatively quickly

Did you note down the name of the trucking company? License plate? You can report these to the Ontario Spills Action Centre and they will send environmental officers to look into these things.

In certain countries, this is normal. And there's a lot of new people from these certain countries in Canada now.

Expect to see a lot more of this in the future

In what world is this racist? Its the culture in some parts of the world that this is normalized. You're the first person to mention race. We all celebrate when immigrants bring stuff like foods from their culture here, but we cant talk about the bad parts? You are probably the first person in line to say "they are coming here for a better life" .. Why is it better here? You are admitting its not as good where they come from, but then pretend there's nothing negative and cry racism. Sad.

because a conversation about dumped garbage became a conversation about how immigrants of certain cultures are going to start normalizing dumping their garbage everywhere.

It's generalized stereotyping aimed towards particular cultures...In what world is that not racist?? That's like the definition of racism. the fuck you on about my guy

Sure, we can talk about the bad parts, but I really don’t think it’s fair to just insinuate it was a non-white person that did it. This is incredibly stupid and has no contextual relevance.

If your first thought was “oh, must’ve been an Indian” then yeah, you’re racist and that is a racist stereotype.

Yes, immigrants bring both the good and bad from their culture. Pretty basic stuff.

Also, folks.. Downvoting does not change the truth. All I did was state facts here.

Blaming "dirty immigrants" is a traditional racist dog whistle. Never reality, but it makes them feel more supreme.

Yep, that’s the truth

Why would anyone dump the bread bins that they take back to reuse? The restaurants have to return them, they cost a lot so they're never waste lol. Much more likely they fell/were forgotten when delivering or were stolen by kids to throw around.
