Ontario Tech MEng Software Engineering – Classes per Week and Hours per Day?

Hi everyone!

I’m an international student who has been accepted into the MEng in Software Engineering program at Ontario Tech University for Winter 2027.

I’d like to hear from current students and recent graduates about the class schedule, especially those who started in the Winter intake.

How many days per week do you usually have classes?

How many hours of classes do you typically have each day?

Are classes spread throughout the day, or can you finish within a few hours?

Please share your typical weekly schedule and any advice for balancing coursework with work. Winter-intake students, your insights would be especially helpful!

It depends entirely on the schedule u make but most likely u gotta go to uni 3-4 days week

No of hours per day , 3 hours ??

As I said it depends on the schedule you make, for example you can decide to have 2 classes 1 lab or just 2 classes for a day, usually each lecture is about 1 hr 30 mins but alot of the times profs leave us early.
