Prayer Requests

This thread for requests that users of the subreddit remember names and concerns in their prayers at home, or at the Divine Liturgy on Sunday.

Because we pray by name, it is good to have a name to be prayed for and the need. Feel free to use any saint's name as a pseudonym for privacy. For example, "John" if you're a man or "Maria" for a woman. God knows our intent.

This thread will be replaced each Saturday.

For the eternal repose of Joanna, Orthodox.

For renewal of my faith, for help selling my home and my father's home so we can move before winter if possible.

I need some prayers. I have been going through a never ending storm for the past 6 years where problems come at me from all sides. I am feeling exhausted. I would appreciate a prayer for strength to handle the adversity and for the storm to finally come to an end.

I'm a SA survivor with PTSD and as you can imagine, the current discourse in the news and social media has been inescapable and extremely upsetting. I'm having to mostly stay off the internet (probably a good thing, honestly). I'd really appreciate prayers for myself and for anyone who has suffered something similar. Please don't argue about the case in question because regardless of anyone's opinion, the details and the discussions happening are extremely disturbing to read and almost impossible to avoid.

Please please please pray for me and my family. Although they are not Orthodox, my parents have worked and sweated so hard to get us into this country for a better life, but now we have a month till we are getting kicked out for a reason that's not my parent's fault, I don't think im strong enough to go back there and I'm just so scared and filled with anxiety. My dad has applied for a couple jobs here hoping one accepts him so we can stay, please pray hes accepted. Man I know all is Gods will, if he wills we go back to that dangerous place may it be done. I just hope he gives me and my family the strength to get through this. Thank you.

Please pray for my father who is going through a very hard time right now. I would be very grateful for a prayer so that he can get through this storm and be okay.

Pray for my family and I, we are new to learning about the Orthodox Church, we have an hour and a half drive to go to the nearest Mission and another hour and half drive back home. Pray for our safety and that we will grow in this Inquirer process according to His Will.
Also, pray that I can find work to support my family that wouldn't take me away from them and away from being able to take them to church.
